We have spoken with *** *** several times We always collect up front for services rendered and make our best attempt to file a medical claim for the patient Unfortunately we were unsuccessful in filing a medicare claim for this patient Our office is very upfront when
we talk with our patients and let them know that there is no guarantee of payment from insurance and that this is a courtesy for us to attempt in filing a claim As we are a dental office it can be very difficult to file medical claims We also talked to Care Credit for this *** *** son and let him know that if he could provide them with a death certificate they would work with him on the bill *** *** said because the Care Credit was in his mother's name they could not help them with the Care Credit bill I do not feel as though Doctor Brown owes a refund because the services were rendered to the patient and with no problems or complaints Our condolences to his family and heart felt apologies for their loss Sincerely Doctor Misty Browns Office
