Dispute of a $105 charge.Art's Tired towed my vehicle through [redacted]. My husband was driving and did not have a phone or know what the name of my mechanic was so told them they could tow it to their garage and we would call them in the morning, though I had instructed[redacted] to tow it to my home at that point. I called them in the morning and told them NOT to do anything with the car and proceeded to call my mechanic to arrange it with him to have it taken there. Art's then called me and said they would charge $600 to fix my car and I said NO. I called [redacted] and arranged to have it towed to my own mechanic, this was at 11:30am. I was also told at this time that Art's was charging me $105 to release my vehicle. I questioned the charge when I called Art's, but was told the mechanic was unavailable. I told the woman that I was not happy as I had said NOT to do anything to my vehicle, but I would pay it as it was my only vehicle and I needed to get it to my mechanic to be fixed. I also requested an itemized bill be sent to me. At 3:30 I called my mechanic to see if he had looked at it and was informed it was not there yet. I called [redacted] and they said in their computer it said it was delivered so they called Art's. Art's told [redacted] that they were busy so it wouldn't get done until 4pm, 4 1/2 hours after I requested it be done which is not[redacted] policy. A little after 4pm I was called by[redacted] saying that Art's couldn't do it because they didn't have a flat bed available, so I would have to wait even longer for them to find someone else. My mechanic never received it until after 6pm. The "itemized" bill I received is very vague and does not really say what was done with the car, just charges of $105 after I specifically requested that they NOT do ANYTHING to my car. I feel this is an unjustifiable charge and that I should be refunded, but I also want their unfair practices on record.Desired SettlementAll I want is my $105 dollars refunded to me.Business Response I will just refund her the money due to her dissatisfaction and will send her a check by mail.
