I am responding to the letter that was sent to me RE: *** ***'s complaintI, *** took her INITIAL PHONE CALLWhen we spoke she did state she did not want to spend a lot of money on the repair of her washing machineI told her the repair tech would take a look and give her an estimate
before repairing anythingWe made an appointment for a tech to go to her homeA service Call & Diagnosis fee is an industry standard when having work done within ones homeThe information is given to customers who inquire about pricing*** did not ask if there was a fee to go out an diagnoseThe tech did go into the home , he ran the machine , lifted the machine to look underneath, he was able to duplicate the noise *** was hearingSo he was able to diagnose the machine with out taking it apartThe diagnosis was the machine needed a new brake package and gave her an estimate of and to fix the machine*** did not want to spend that much on a repair and told the tech she did not want to fix itThe tech informed her it would be $for the service call and diagnosis and she became upset stating she was going to pay himThe tech went to the truck to write up the invoices and when he returned to the door she had locked it and drew the shades and would not answer the doorInvoice was left between the screen door and the locked door*** did call the office after this interaction and spoke with me, ***I listened to her concerns and I stated we had provided the service she asked of usI informed her he would be sending her bill in the mail for for Service call and DiagnosisPlease feel free to contact me at *** with any question or concerns
