Review: When I bought my 2000 Toyota Solara on September **, 2012, the dealer "sold" me a GWC 2-year warranty for $1500. I started developing issues with the car (as would be expected) several months later. Before going for necessary repairs that would have been covered by the warranty, I called GWC to confirm my coverage. They informed me that there was not the slightest record of even an attempted application for my vehicle's coverage. I have repeatedly tried to deal with Arxondas Motors directly and get my money back, but he has evaded these attempts and has not reimbursed me. I have both a receipt from him that lists the GWC warranty on it for $1500, and a signed official letter from GWC stating as follows: "Dear Mr. [redacted]: In response to your letter regarding the following vehicle (Toyota Solara, VIN [redacted])... GWC Warranty has no record of receiving or accepting an application for vehicle service contract or any amount for application from Arxondas Motors ([redacted], Yonkers, NY 10705; [redacted]) in regard to the above referenced deal. If you have any questions in regard to this matter please do not hesitate to contact me. I can be reached at the listed toll-free number at extension [redacted]. Thank you. - [redacted]; Manager, contract processingI have now spent over 2000 on repairs that would have been covered by the warranty, and frankly there is no use for a warranty any further. I would like to receive my $1500 back, and I will be satisfied with this. My suspicion that there was never any intent to apply for my warranty is borne out by GWC's testament to this fact, and given that I have both proof of "purchase" and proof that there was no purchase in fact, I expect to be reimbursed for this fraudulent charge.Desired Settlement: I expect to receive my $1500 back, preferably in cash as that is how I paid.
