I am rejecting this response because: not true at all Mr alvaro owner form A&S came to my place and I told him my problem of my car and he told me no problem hee will fix it for me for 1,dls if I will bring the engine off for him, the onlt time I went to him was win I started having problems after I installed my ingine back, he oferd to look it over one moore time, I puled the engine off one more time hee told me that a spark plus was all bad and everything was good to gowell one more time instald engine backno results :( this time I went to another place and told me that I hade inernal problems in my engine? so I went ahead and told the guy to take engine off so wee can see what the problem realy was, well all bad timimg chain was not new head job was not done write and lots of meetal in oil, I have pic of all this,just don't thik Mr alvaro did his work write and let me off with my car not workingI will realy want some one to call me so I can explean better over the phone plz call me at eny time at ###-###-####

Mrs. [redacted]Brought his engine in on August 16 2016, He brought the engine with all the accessories still on the engine including (subframe,transmission,ac compressor,power steer, motor mounts etc) We gave him a quote of $1900 Which includes the following. -$550 (used) engine short block...

core (Mrs. [redacted] requested we just go through it and check for excessive wear (only)-Due to, he wanted to spend as little money as possible. -$250 Mrs. [redacted] brought his engine in with all the acceseries including (subframe,transmission,ac compressor,power steering, motor mounts, etc) Our labor charges to remove from the engine$1100 Assemble engine with the following parts & labor (only)New head bolt setNew oil PumpNew Head gasket setNew Timing SetOnce we disassembled the engine we found that his short block is no good and had to be replace. We contacted Mrs. [redacted] and he came down to our shop and we explained step by step what was wrong with his engine and Mrs. [redacted] said to scrap his old engine. We agreed on getting him another (used) short block core for $550 and Mrs. [redacted] requested we only check the short block for excessive wear (only)-Due to, he wanted to spend as little money as possible.We recommend Mrs. [redacted] Rebuild the whole long block, change cam phases, oil cylinoids, etc. Mrs. [redacted] refused, and wanted as little as possible done to his engine.If you have any other questions please feel free to give us a call at ###-###-#### thanks.Sincerely,Alvaro DuranA & S Engine Supply
