This is a very dishonest company (actually A husband and wife team who cover for each other) . I filed a claim with my home warranty because my A/C started blowing hot air. This company was dispatched and they give a response time of 4 days which was too long in GA heat, specially when I have toddlers and Elderly Diabetic people in the house. We 3-wayed a call with the owner (Shahzabad *** AKA Shah.) and we rescheduled the call on a recorded line and it was documented to be the next day between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Shah called later that day claiming that he is confirming the appointment for the time slot of 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. I explained that we had already spoke earlier on a conference call with the insurance and it is was set for 12:00 PM to 4:00. HE said sure, and he will call me back , but never did !!!

The next day while in the shower getting ready to receive him for the 12:00 appointment , a call was made by his wife at 11::20 AM. I returned the call and she told me that she was trying to confirm, but since I did not answer the phone while in the shower, she is not sure now.. She said she will call shah and call me back.
Mr.. Called me angrily and he claimed that we never spoke, and he does not have any appointments for me until July 20th . and proceeded to interrupt me while I was trying to explain that we have spoken twice already. Also I asked why was he confirming the appointment with me if I did not something setup already ?

I called the insurance company and now I am back in the queue waiting for another company to pickup the call while we bake in the heat with small toddlers and a couple of Diabetic grand parents.

Avoid this person and this company, just a scammer , and dishonest.

On 1.16.2018 my Home Warranty Company sent A S Heating & Air Conditioning to my house to troubleshoot my Furnace as it was turning on but not blowing out hot air. Upon the Tech inspection, he advised that the Heat Exchanger was cracked and needed to be replaced. His claim to the Home Warranty Company advised that Heat Exchanger was cracked and I needed a new furnace. On 1.17.2018, that night I went to turn my hot water on nothing came out. I went out to my storage area and saw that he had flipped the switch to my furnace in complete off mode. My outside storage area houses my water heater and furnace, which the water heater is connected to the furnace. With the furnace being off, that made the room temperature drop and a pipe burst right in the ceiling in between the furnace and water heater. With the Water pipe bursting, I have to have the ceiling replaced.

After he turned off my furnace, I didn't feel as though he was fully educated on furnace repair so I decided to get a second opinion on the issue. Cool Masters is the second company that came out to troubleshoot my furnace, which I paid for out of pocket. Please note that they ran test and concluded that NO Chambers were cracked and the Termocouple needed to be replaced. With that being said, A.S Heating & Air Conditioning didn't troubleshoot my problem incorrectly (he didn't supply me with any test results or run any test) he lied and filed a false claim with my Home Warranty Company. For days, my teenage son and I went without heat on false information that was submitted to the Warranty Company. I had to buy alot of firewood, and run space heaters which will result in a higher gas and power bill. I have now accrued cost out of my pocket all because of false information.

Desired Outcome

Refund As of 2.23.2018, I am requesting a $100 refund from A.S. Heating & Conditioning for the $100 deductible that I paid via the money order that my Home Warranty Company requires me to pay. If my Home Warranty Company doesn't reimburse for the additional expenses, I will request reimbursement from A.S. Heating & Conditioning. Invoices for the additional cost and pictures of the damage where sent to A.S. Heating & Conditioning on 2.14.2018. As of 2.23.2018, I am requesting a $100 refund from A.S. If my Home Warranty Company doesn't reimburse for the additional expenses, I will request reimbursement from A.S. Heating & Conditioning. I received the letter concerning *** stating issues about the furnace. I was there on January 16, 2018, I checked the furnace the flames were rolling out because heat exchanger was taking air. The furnace is close to 35 years old, heat exchanger and furnace is rusted, flue pipe is rusted furnace is not maintained and in poor condition. I turned off pilot light and we didn't do anything related with water heater as we were only there for furnace. The home warranty prefers to change the furnace instead of fixing the heat exchanger because they don't want to take any risk due to safety issues. The home warranty approved to install new furnace and they are waiting for Customer approval for non covered charges. When we go for a service call the Customer is required to pay the deductible amount which is determined by Home Warranty policy.

Customer Response • Apr 04, 2018

I didn't see this email to respond in a timely manner before the case was closed out. I wanted to advise A.S Heating and Air Conditioning that my Warranty Company advised that they are responible for any damages and I have to put a claim through their Company. As A.S Heating and Air Conditioning noted the Tech turned my pilot off/turned furnace completely off, which caused the storage area temperature area to drop which caused the pipe in bewteen the furnace and water heater to freeze and burst. My water heater is connected to the furnace via a pipe, this is how it stays at room temperature. At the time when my furnace stop blowing out hot, the temperatures in Atlanta were 17 - 24 degrees. I agree that the deductible is $100 which is assigned from the Warranty Company, but that is for service rendered. I am requesting reimbursent for the deductible $100, pipe that burst $220 and sheetrock replacement $250. If the Company is not in agreeance to reimbursement me for damagaes that they caused, please note that I will seek lega representation for reimbursement. I
m only asking for expenses that I paid out of my pocket, due to the Tech's negligence. I can resend the pictures and invoices if needed. Thanks and I look forward to hearing back from your Company.

I have already explained in the previous email, I didn't work on water heater or any related thing with the water heater. When I went there the furnace was already off and that is the reason customer called for heat not working. I trouble shoot the furnace, it was not in good condition and I let it stay off. Even the furnace is not properly installed by the code. We are required to collect the deductible for diagnostic report and service call when we go to the customer home. If the Customer have issues than they should contact Home Warranty. Again I am mentioning that the furnace was already off when I went for the service call.
