ASAP Affordable Sewer & Plumbing

This company took my credit card info saying it would not charge me until the boss discussed work to be done. Ran card the next day, charging $2,000 for what they said was down payment on sewer line replacement. City officials' cameras soon revealed no need to replace the line. When police called on my behalf, owner claimed the money was for clean out job which they did do over a period of about four hours. Owner lied, saying they were on the job two days for a total of 16 hours. In reality, they never even did clean out properly as I had to hire someone else to complete the job. The owner has had various other issues as verified by court records. Be careful as he has often changed the name of his business. It was ASAP Plumbing and Sewer when we had him to our house and now I also see his business listed as North Ridgeville Plumbing/ASAP Plumbing. He doesn't use a dedicated address (uses P.O. Box) for his business. He has also used the address of rental properties he resides in as a business address. He has even changed the name of his company three times with the Ohio Sect. of State. When we tried to serve him to take him to Small Claims Court, he was elusive and, even using a process server, could not be located. Very shady. I have documentation to support every statement made here--it was very frustrating dealing with this situation and it cost us a lot of money. My actual star-rating would be ZERO.
In short, I would never hire this company owned by Jay H
