Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:Our complaint is that the window was not installed correctly which is a safety hazard as well as a cause of the crack in the inside pane of glassThe crack is on the inside pane of glass, which could not be caused by a bird strike as the company suggests. I would think a reputable company would want to check to be sure the window was installed correctly and determine if that caused the crack in the glass.
Sincerely,

We are responding to a complaint made by [redacted]. Her
complaint is in regards to a replacement window that was installed two years
ago. As we explained to Ms. [redacted], glass breakage is not covered under her warranty.
We do not know what caused the glass to crack, a bird could have hit...
the
window, it’s really hard to say. However, the warranty only covers seal
failure, meaning condensation that could form inside the double pane glass. The
manufacturer of the window, Cascade Windows, excludes broken or cracked glass
from their warranty. If the glass had broken from a manufacturing defect it
most certainly would have occurred within the first few days to months of
install not two years later. We are sorry that Ms. [redacted] is not happy with the
warranty on the windows but that warranty is provided by the manufacturer of
the windows not ASAP Glass Services. I am attaching a copy of the warranty
provided by the manufacturer Cascade Windows.
