Review: I went and bought my nissan 350z and I didn't have insurance and the company I bought it with got me asap insurance and they said only 150 a month which I thought was fine so they took my card and charged it. Nobody explained to me there would be a cancellation fee and collection agency coming after me. I did go with a different company for insurance and now I have a collection agency after me and I don't think this was a valid charge. I was never notified of a balance or even the policy.Desired Settlement: I just want the collection company to leave me alone for charges Asap insurance believes I owe which I don't believe I do.

Dear Sir/Madame,
I am responding to the complaint filed by Mr. [redacted] against our business, ASAP Insurance and Financial Services, Inc.
In his complaint, Mr. [redacted] states that cancellation fees and possible collection activity was not disclosed to him.
The applicaton and agreement which he signed discloses these items.
Mr. [redacted] states that he doesn’t believe the charge was valid as he was never notified of a balance due or even the policy.
The customer information provided on this complaint show his address and phone number are different than the ones he provided on the policy.
Mr. [redacted] does not owe ASAP Insurance any money and we do not file any accounts with collection agencies. It is possible that Mr. [redacted] owes the insurance company, GMAC Insurance, money and they have placed his balance due in collections. In that case, he needs to file a complaint with the insurance company. We are a broker and placed his policy according to his direction and approval. Any balance due and subsequent collection activity is at the discretion of the insurance company.
Sincerely,
V.P.
Review: ASAP Insurance charged me in a month I had already payed, they didnt check that the moth was already payed for and charged me my insurance 70.54 + 20 for some sort of precessing fees.Desired Settlement: Either Refund me or find a way to remove automatic payment so this doesnt happen again.

Response:
Mr. [redacted] signed a contract with our office to make his insurance payments on his behalf. Mr. [redacted] then went ahead and made his payment. When we checked the company's website to make his payment, $70.54 was due for May so we paid it and charged his credit card $90.54 (payment plus a $20 service fee) based on the contract. Somehow, Mr. [redacted]'s payment was not reflected.
