which can have serious complications if guidelines are not used to insure a patient’s overall safety.This patient had been on *** from another physician and was not up to date with a current TB test and according the Dr.H***’s records had not had any other testing. If DrH*** was going to take responsibility for this patient’s health and wellbeing, it is necessary to follow the guidelines necessary to prescribe this medication,This involves a series of tests that would have to be completed. We were not aware that the appropriate tests were not up to date when he made an appointment.Our major code is to do no harm in caring for patients. If patients will not follow the proper guidelines, we do not feel it is appropriate to undertake their care.If you require additional information or wish to discuss this further, please let me know. I am rejecting this response because: The payment has been refunded however, if you look at the required testing only tb is noted any other demanded testing is unnecessary, as for the medication being so powerful, I have been on the same prescription for over 10 years with no side effect and haven't had any major illness in this time. they were made aware of this and could have requested records from previous doctors, who by the way did take yearly blood work when it was required but is no longer to state again. I sincerely believe they are trying to take advantage of patients for monetary gains and would like that to be known.
