Worst experience ever! It took them 4 days to even do my financing, I kept getting pushed back and then have been round and round with service since.
I came in on Tuesday 6/10/14 to purchase a certified 2011 Kia Soul. I did all the negotiating with the used car department and agreed on a sale. I was then sent to financing. They were unable to finish my financing Tuesday as it was around 830-9pm. I was asked to come back Wednesday, and I did. I sat there for 2 hours before they asked me to come back Friday. Friday came and I got a call saying "I have a meeting today how about you come Saturday". So, I came Saturday and everything was finally finished. Now mind you this was SUPPOSED to be a certified used vehicle but there were some issues I wanted fixed and they agreed. There was a HUGE chip of paint missing on the back bumper, the radio had static in it on normal stations, the driver side speaker had chrome trim that was chipping all off and the windshield had a crack in it. That Saturday that I finished the financing they gave me a rental and put the car into service. I had that rental for a WEEK before I got my car back which was Thursday 6/19 and everything was fixed the way I wanted it except the windshield. Instead of replacing it like they said they would, they just filed the crack, so it still looks like it is there. I took the car home and as soon as I got it home I noticed there was rust on the hood inside the paint chips. It was already 5 by the time I got home so service was closed. I called first thing the following day Friday 6/20 I called to discuss the rust because this was supposed to be a CERTIFIED vehicle and their response to me was paint is only covered for 3 years after delivery to the first owner and they were not going to fix it. So what I got from that was sorry you just paid 16,000 dollars for this vehicle with rust on it and were not doing anything to fix it. So after I got off I went to the Kia Used Car office and spoke with a sales men outside and he agreed that it should have been repaired before it was sold to me. With his agreement I went inside and asked for a manager. The manager looked up the warranty and told me corrosion was covered for 60 Months or 100,000 miles and they walked me over to service with that info. Service said OK lets make an appointment, the appointment schedule was Saturday 6/21 at 2pm and I was there and dropped off the car and got yet another rental. Saturday afternoon I received a call and was told sorry Kia is refusing to repair this because the paint chips are not manufacture defects. I asked to be transferred to Used Car Sales where the manager assured me he would have it taken care of. Come Monday 6/23 I had not heard anything so I called and they told me it is leaving the shop today to go to Toyota's body shop, it will take two days and you can pick it up Wednesday 6/25. Well here we are at Wednesday and I just got another call saying it never left Monday they don't know why I was told that and it still has not been looked at. I asked how long am I going to have to be without my car and the response was "let me find out and I'll call you back. Two hours later and still haven't received that call back. My first payment is due 7/14/14 and so far I've only had the car in my possession as mine for 1 day.
