I am rejecting this response because:The business person is lying or misinformed There was no "plastic case" included in the original shipment I sent the battery back in the packaging it was sent with, as instructed If the business expects a 'plastic case' to protect the battery for return shipment, it is responsible for including it, or instructing the purchaser on how to secure one Neither was provided. Here are some other facts that support my claim These describe the failure of the business to represent itself truthfully and professionally.1) [redacted] advertised the battery shipment charge as dollars, but I was charged dollars for shipment by [redacted] .2) I was promised by [redacted] advertisement and by the promise of the seller over the phone that shipment would be in two weeks from purchase, at maximum, but that it was likely to be days I purchased the battery on Nov The battery did not arrive until early Dec I had to rent a car many times to make up for this delay. For this reason ***, who works at ASC, promised that the dollars would be refunded This never happened.3) The seller did not claim or provide any documentation that the battery was damaged in shipment until very recently I called him several times in late Decand was told the battery core refund was already sent, or was going to sent Now the seller says the battery is damaged.4) There are six other negative reports on the seller's [redacted] profile which describe deceptive practices similar to these by the seller towards other buyers.Sincerely, [redacted]

I have attached here:1) Proof of delivery of the core battery on 12/12/from FedEx to ASC Hybrid batteries, which should have resulted in a 450$ refund payment.2) Proof of my original purchase, that it was completed on 11/12/14, that I paid dollars shipping, which is nearly dollars more than the advertised shipping price.3) Proof of the 450$ paid as a 'core charge', refundable upon receipt of the core battery, which was delivered on 12/12/(see attachment 1)4)Initial email Contact days after 12/12/asking about the delinquent refund of the core charge and original shipping, as promised This and other phone calls were either not responded to, or responded to with lies by ***, including that the refund was sent to [redacted] , or that the check was in the mail.I can submit additional documentation as needed This message is restricting me to four file uploads I have proof that the original delivery quote was 51.73, not the 150$ I was charged, I have additional written messages to ASC Hybrids that were not responded to, and I have documentation that other [redacted] buyers have had similar problems to those described here.I challenge the seller to provide ANY documentation sent to me that the battery was damaged in shipment I have none

Review: I purchased a refurbished hybrid battery from ASC Auto Repair via [redacted] on October 23, 2014. I paid the invoiced amount of $1,150 on October 27, 2014. After I paid the bill on October 27, a separate bill for $450 was submitted for a core charge deposit (which was not clearly described in the listing). I also paid the $450 as the seller reassured me this would be refunded once my old battery was shipped to him (at my cost). The refurbished battery was not shipped to me until nearly a month after I paid for it and required multiple inquiries before it was finally delivered. After hiring a local dealership to install the new battery and having FedEx deliver the old battery to them, I was never refunded the deposit. I made many attempts to resolve the issue and provided the FedEx tracking number and supporting evidence of successful delivery to them. My communications and requests for the refund were ignored. In the end, he received $1600 and my old battery which will be refurbished and sold to another unsuspecting person. This company is running a scheme to get batteries that they can refurbish and resell without following through on their commitment to refund the deposit and it is fraudulent.Desired Settlement: If the business refunds me the core deposit of $450 or returns my old battery, then I will drop the complaint.

Review: I purchased and payed for a hybrid battery from this company and never received anything. It's been 13 weeks now and nothing. They won't answer the phone and don't call back.Desired Settlement: I want notified of order cancelled and money refunded.

Sent text message 7-14-15 explaining that battery failed requested repairs under his warranty promise.[redacted] has not responded for request for appointment for warranty repair work.[redacted] said he can repair the battery and bring it up to 90% efficiency and guarantees work for one year.I paid 1, 250 for the repairs. He has not kept his warranty promise.Desired Settlement: Repair battery or give full refund. If he agrees to finish repairs on battery request that the Revdex.com watch him so he does not damage my vehicle why he has it because I filing this claim

Review: I ordered a reconditioned hybrid battery on [redacted] in November. They 'lost' the order and took a month, after repeated calling, to fulfill it. They promised due to the delay to refund the cost of shipping and an amount to defray my use of a rental car, approx. 125$ dollars. This was never sent.I sent the old hybrid battery core back to them, delivered on 12/12 via FedEx, to collect a 450$ deposit. This deposit has not yet been paid. The service person, [redacted], has repeatedly said that he did send it, first, directly to [redacted], and secondly, directly to me. Neither has turned out to be true. He also says he does not remember agreeing to send the additional amount to cover costs involved with the late shipment.Desired Settlement: I would like the 575$ dollars owed to me paid immediately.

Response:

Company states: We had sold him a battery. We took the deposit. We sent the battery in a plastic case. We put it in the crate. The battery weights about 80 lbs. If it is not packaged right then it breaks apart. It needs to be in a crate. We sent him the crate so he could send his old battery. He returned our crate but the battery was all messed up in the front. He put the battery in light weight and not even industrial box. We cannot even salvage it or repair it. We can send it back to him. He thinks we are not being fair. The whole point of this process was to send our crate back so that the battery would come to us. We told him that we will send back the core and we will reimburse him for the shipping. He has called us multiple times and we will send the battery back in the exact same way it was sent to us and he will have to pay for postage if he wants his battery back.

Review: I purchase a IMA Hybrid Battery for my 2004 Honda on October 22 2014 from this person for 1,350 dollars. Also I had to pay 450.00 dollars for a Hybrid core charge, which means I paid 1,800 dollars. On that note the 450.00 dollars were suppose to be return to my credit card once he received the old battery. I send the battery on November 17 2014 with fedex tracking # [redacted]. Today is January 16 2015 and he has not return my money. He also keeps saying that he send me a check but it never got here.Desired Settlement: A refund with interest 50.00 a month he was late !!!!
