This is not a customerThis was an outside freight carrier booked by the millWe load plus trucks a day and have zero incidentsWe asked our loaders if they caused any damage and they denied itThe problem is these trucks and trailers go from location to location getting loaded and unloaded
It could have been damaged anywhereCardboard that we loaded fm does not normally cause this kind of damageHowever, we did turn into the insurance to further investigate and settle if they see fit This woman did call on Friday and was irate demanding the money nowWe tried to calm her down and explain that it was turned over to insurance and she did not want to bleat itShe swore and yelled and we ended the conversationThis in really not a case of an issue that needed to be reported to Revdex.com

I am rejecting this response because:The response is completely falseThey damage caused was not due to the bales loaded, it was caused by improper loadingAs shown in the pictures sent to Ascent Recycling the damage was done during the loading of the balesThe pictures show some of their product still on the trailerIt also shows the parts of the wall & insulation that were torn off directly under the damage to the wallsAlso shown in the pictures was the damage to the nose, taken as as soon as the last bales were removedAs far as loading 20+ trucks a day without damage, that is also falseThe unloader at *** ***l told me one of the trucks they unloaded coming from Ascent recycling the same day also had damage and the rep from Ascent Recycling who asked me to send the statement told me they had just gone through an insurance claim and that is how he knew I needed to send a statement along with the pictures and estimate I had already sentWhen calling Friday, my wife was not irate, nor did she demand payment right at that momentYes, she was told the claim had been submitted to their insurance, but she had been told that since Wednesday and as of today we have not received any correspondence from the insurance company nor from Ascent RecyclingWe have sent all information requested, but get no update as far as payment or status of paymentNever once during the conversation with *** did my wife swear or yellHe hung up on her "ended the conversation" when she told him she didn't think the situation was funny being that he laughed continuously as she tried explaining to him why she was callingIn my opinion this issue does need to be reported to warn other companies/drivers loading at their place of business to take pictures prior to loading in case of damage to their equipmentI will continue to use all resources available to me to attempt collecting the debt owed to meThis company needs to be held responsible for the actions of their employees
