Customer place online order for tickets from a third party ticket reseller charging above face value for tickets. This information is made clear on web site prior to
purchase. Not only that terms and conditions must be agreed to prior to being able to complete order and check box must be changed from NO to yes in order to complete. Exactly what the customer ordered was delivered to the AVS exact match address via *** ***. No credit is justified

Customer was not deligent or knowledgeable how and with whom they were ordering from.

Review: I purchased 4 tickets for 'The Book of Mormon' at the [redacted] Theatre in [redacted]. The were supposed to be on the main floor, row 'R'. I was charged $122.00 for each ticket. When the tickets arrived they were for GRA Row 'R'and clearly printed $50.00 each. The total price after they added a handling fee and shipping was $605.48. I find that I have no recourse through my bank and talking to these people they say I have no recourse. I would like to cancel these tickets and get a refund. They are robbing people.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the tickets I requested, row 'R' on the main floor, or a refund.

Response:

Person placed an order from an online ticket broker selling tickets at above face value. The fact that they are purchasing on the secondary market is made clear on the site.

Also before being able to complete order check box must be changed from default setting of No to yes indicating that they understand the terms and conditions of use.

Link to these terms below.

Person chose the Section and Row of the tickets they purchased and received exactly what they ordered.

Person is upset that they agreed to terms and conditions they did not pay attention to and were charged a premium

Notes

Review: I purchased tickets for a performance in [redacted] Florida and when going to the [redacted] website I was directed to this company to purchase tickets, I purchased the tickets and I was charged 67.00 each for 4 tickets plus a 56.00 handling fee plus a 15.00 shipping fee. The total was 339.28. When I received the tickets I now find out the ticket price at [redacted] is 25.00 each. I contacted the company to discuss and I was told this is their normal practice and I could not get a refund of the tickets I should have known the price of the tickets before ordering from them. This company is a scam company and tries to take advantage of people by charging 3 times the normal price plus the excessive other charges. This company should be shut down for this kind of practice. I would like to know how many other people use this site and have the same complaints.Desired Settlement: I would like to pay the 25.00 per ticket price noted on the tickets I receive and I will split the Handling fee and pay the shipping fee.

I feel this is a reasonable charge for using their company. I will also notify [redacted] of this charge and the link from their website to this company

Review: ordered tickets for alicia keys concert jan 16 2013 confirmation was sent to me on jan 16 2013 sayind the tickets were confirmed at 1:47 pm jan 16,2013 ordered was accepted ,avaliable and guarantee that I will recieve my tickets by mar 29,2013. Called Apr. 2, 2013 to find out about tickets and was told the tickets were sold to someone else and they tried to call but didnt leave a message and never emailed me.Desired Settlement: to replace the concert tickets at the next available Alicia Keys concert in the ** metro area asap

Review: I purchased tickets believing that I was purchasing them from an agency authorized by the artist and venue. When the tickets arrived, they were issued in someone else's name. When I received my card statement, ASC had fraudulently charged me an additional $21.33 per ticket as "processing fees". I would have never purchased the tickets if I had been aware of the terms and that I was purchasing tickets from a "scalper".Desired Settlement: I want the processing fees refunded.

Review: I recently purchased ticket for [redacted] and [redacted] Circus. I went to the [redacted] Civic Center website and clicked on the seating arrangements and it directed me to [redacted]. When I got to the [redacted] website I saw a number on the top of the page that I called because I had questions. I then proceeded to buy the tickets from what I thought was [redacted]. I paid a total of $153 for 2 tickets. I received my tickets in the mail the next day via [redacted]. The envelope had my name on it but the tickets had a different name ([redacted]) as issued to and had a price listed as $16.00 each. I called [redacted] to find out why I was charged $153 for two $16.00 tickets. They attempted to look up my tickets, I gave them the order number which was on the tickets and they asked for the last 4 digits of the [redacted] card that I used to pay for the tickets before they could give me any information. I did not use an [redacted] card, I do not own one, so they could not give me any information about the tickets I purchased. I then called the [redacted] Civic center and they looked up my seats and discovered that the tickets were bought for a total of $40 and then the person who bought them turned around and sold them to me for $153.00. The name that the tickets were under ([redacted]) bought several tickets and the money that I paid was over half of the total of the entire seats purchanged.Desired Settlement: I do not expect to get my tickets for free but do not agree with paying $153.00 for $40.00 tickets. I could understand if the event was a week away and sold out, but this event is over a month away and by no means are sold out. I did not realize I was not buying from [redacted] and would like to only have to pay the amount that the tickets were bought for.

Review: Tickets to an Event in Boston Massachusetts, inadvertently purchased from ASC Tickets at ACS DBA Tickets Center ; [redacted]. The price seems to be in violation of Massachusetts general law 140 section 185 A to G, Massachusetts Law About Ticket Scalping The ticket price seems to be three times face value, far exceeding the amount allowable by by Massachusetts Law for an event held in Massachusetts.

Is this business also licensed as a re-seller in Massachusetts as required by MGL 140?Desired Settlement: Desired outcome, a full refund of the $530.00 charged to my credit cared.

Customer placed online order from 3rd party ticket re seller selling tickets at above face value. This fact is stated several times on the web site that customer placed order on

Site purchased from is not run by our company we are simply a supplier of inventory. Customer had to agree to terms and conditions prior to completing transaction stating that they understand that

Review: I went on line to purchase tickets for the upcoming Ron White comedy show to be held in San Antonio Texas on 3 August 2013. I googled '[redacted]' and clicked on the site that said '[redacted] official site'. I proceeded to purchase tickets for this event, not realizing that it was actually an imposter site or a go between ticketing agency that made themselves out to be the actual [redacted] web site. I did not realize this until I actually bought the tickets and received the perfunctory 'Thank you for using Ticket Network' and it wasn't [redacted] it was this imposter site. I then found out that I was charged over TWICE the value of the amount of the actual going price for this event. Sure enough, my [redacted] card was very promptly charged for the $586.20 from ASC Ticket Company.com. A week later, I then received black and white 8 x 11 in peices of paper in the mail with the [redacted] logo on them that says "This is your ticket". In the bottom left corner of this paper it says "Thank you for choosing TicketFast". So not only did I get ripped off by a ruse of a site...I never even got tickets. These paper tickets look fraudulent. AND on top of all this, it says right on these paper tickets the price of $47.75. I bought 4 tickets and was charged $586.20.Desired Settlement: I want the difference in the actual price of the tickets vs. what I paid plus I want the flipping [redacted] tickets for the event and not some xerox piece of paper that looks fraudulent.

Review: I ordered 2 tickets threw ascticket.com for [redacted] Festival on July 11, 2013. I printed out the tickets from [redacted].com as directed in the e-mail. I went to [redacted] Performing Arts Center on the day of the concert which was July 20, 2013. I was denied entry at the gate, the tickets were not able to be scanned, so they stated the tickets were not good. I had to surrender the tickets. I tried to get threw to someone at asc ticket, but obviously didn't have any correct contact information. I spoke to [redacted] at ascticket and he told me to call the box office and get a letter from the gate person who denied me entry. I called the box office, and they have no idea who denied me entry as it had been well over a week since the concert and I just had gotten a reply from [redacted]. I have been calling back and forth for over 4 months. I have not gotten anywhere!Desired Settlement: I want the price that I paid for the 2 tickets to be refunded. The total was $114.22
