Ash Auto Sales Reviews (2)

Review: During the test drive the airbag and ABS lights came on. It was promised both verbally and in "Promisary Note" that it would be fixed. They told us it was being sent to the Ford Dealer but that was a lie. The car was sent to an independent auto shop and we only found out because we had to call the Ford Dealer. When confronted Ash Auto finally admitted that the truck had been sent to the independent shop. While at Ash we were told that an employee of a local Ford dealership was coming to Ash Auto to check/inspect the work completed We were told for the second time that we had to wait to take the truck. After going home we received a call from [redacted] She told us that the transfer case needed to be replaced and "her boss" was not willing to pay for the repair. She offered us our money back or the choice of another vehicle. We chose to have our money returned but as we were leaving to go back to Ash, [redacted]called again and told us that we could not have our money back because the title transfer had been completed. Again, we attempted to work with [redacted]and gave her the opportunity to fix the transfer case. With 6-7 calls over 2 days Ash Auto agreed to have the transfer case replaced. Our truck was sent to [redacted] transmission and was there for 5 days. When the truck was picked up at Ash we noted that the ABS / airbag lights were now purple. They had been clear prior to this. Now the ABS/airbag lights go on and off at will when driving. We drove the truck on the highway and heard a thumping sound. After taking it to [redacted] we were told that 2 of the tires were the wrong size and type for the truck. We also found out that this was the reason for the problems with the transfer case. Again I called [redacted]to request the proper tires and she told me she would get back to me. That was over a week ago and I have not heard from her and I cannot contact her by phone at all.Desired Settlement: At this time I am requesting that we be given 2 correct new tires for the truck to replace the incorrect tires. We should not be responsible to pay to have these replaced and we have no desire to ruin the current transfer case. This is the duty of the dealership to sell vehicles with the proper parts. In addition we need in writing a verification and testing report from an independent service location to ensure that our ABS/airbag systems are functioning properly. I feel that this is a minimal request considering all that we have been patient with thus far.

Review: Purchase a 2003 Honda Pilot on 7/11/2015 with a 30 days warranty at a price of $7600, on 7/12/2015 the vechicle started to shake uncontrollable, and the muffler made loud noise took it back to the dealer who claimed that the vehicle was repaired. 2 day after repair the same issue arise along with the ac not working the lights not working the doors not working properly. Took the vechicle to a mechanic who examine the vechile and indicated that there was issues with the exaust system, the ac was leaking, there are issues with the power steering, the tires and the vechile was not safe. When I purchase the vehicle I made a $1000 deposit for a $7600 vechicle with the intent to pay another $1000 in 2 weeks, since I only have the vechicle for a week and encounter all the issues I spoke to the dealer who indicated that I should have taken a mechanic when I came to purchase the vehicle, We also had an agreement that I would pay off the vechicle in 3 months as it was a buy here pay here loan however when I look at the paperwork it stated that I purchase a 2003 vehicle for $16,000, I spoke to the dealer about this and she indicated that I signed the paperwork, she did the no explain or told me that the price of the vehicle was $16,000.00 I later research and found out that there was 2 recall on that vehicle. there was false misinterpretation in the documentation since she never explain any additional amount to me only that I was approved for $7600.00 car loan. she ask that I returned the vechicle for repair I returned the vehicle and indicated to her that I do not intended to take back the vehicle since I find it unsafe for me and my children and the misinterpretation in the price. She is now threating to take me to court for the remainding $1000 I would have paid in 2 weeks she has my $1000 that I deposited and also the car, she indicated the she is going to have the car tode off her property since she claim she fix the car a second time.Desired Settlement: Resolution
