At this time, I have had direct contact with Ash Business Services Inc regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:...


I had been in contact with the business and confirmed that my taxes were not filed, due to what was reported as a software problem with the businesses e-filing system.  I was advised to mail printed copies of the taxes (which I have mailed.)  It is expected that the timeframe for processing (based on the IRS site) would be by the first week of August, so I am awaiting that phase.  The business also indicated that they would return my fees, however, that has not happened as of today.
I expect that this matter should be closed by the first week of August, when I potentially receive my refund and compare it to what was projected by the business.

Review: I used Ash Business Services ([redacted]) for my tax preparation this year. I have used [redacted]' services in the past. I submitted my tax documents (and payment for services, which his cashed) before the April [redacted] tax deadline (in March 2014) to [redacted]. On 4/**/14, I received an email from [redacted], indicating that my taxes had been e-filed. I owed some money to the state, which I mailed accordingly, and I am due a federal refund. I have not received a refund and I have contacted [redacted] several times, via email, to inquire. I've spoken with him on the phone and he's indicated that he may have to submit some additional paper and that I should expect the refund in a few days. I've gone onto the IRS federal site and there appears to be no record of my taxes being filed. The site also indicates that returns should be processed within 4 weeks. We're now at 9-10 weeks and I do not have my refund.At this point I am extremely frustrated. I paid the preparation fee and I don't know what the status of my taxes are. [redacted] has not responded to me in writing, after multiple requests from me.Desired Settlement: I would like an update from [redacted] in writing, as to the status of my refund. If my refund is not what was indicated or if I owe additional money as a result of late filing, I will request a return of the service fee paid to him and any additional damages.
