Ash Busters

I have qualified for the Age group national championship race in Milwaukee this year, and despite my best efforts, have made no headway in registering for the event. I have repeatedly requested to speak to a supervisor which has been ignored.

Review: In Spring 2012 I had my chimney crown replaced, which was claimed to have a 20-year warranty.In August 2014 the crown was showing unusual signs of wear/breaking, and I requested Ash Busters come out to take a look. I also ask for an estimate on some additional mortar/tuck-pointing work on the chimney. I subsequently received an estimate for the new work and it was confirmed that a replacement crown would be covered under warranty. That's when the problem began.The job was first scheduled for 1pm on 25 August but was cancelled at 4:25pm later that day due to a claimed scheduling mix-up by Ash Busters.On 26 August, Ash Busters claimed they got "a start" on the job but then decided they needed different supplies (claimed reinforced mortar) and that they would finish the job on 28 August. There were no visible signs of progress.After having not been contacted about a rescheduled completion date, on 10 September I contacted Ash Busters who said the owner (Rob W[redacted]) had been injured (torn ACL), but that his staff would come and complete the job on 15 September at 8am.On 15 September at 6:44am I was notified that the owner, not his staff, would be out at 10am instead of 8am that day. On the evening of 15 September there were no visible signs of any work having been completed but the check for payment had been taken. On the evening of the 15th I received an email from Ash Busters saying there had been a miscommunication and that my chimney had only been sprayed with a water replant, a service that I had received an unsolicited quote on, but had not requested. Rob W[redacted] apologized for the confusion and said they would be out on the morning of 16 September to finish the work correctly.Later on 15 September I notified Ash Buster that I had placed a stop-payment order on the check they had taken for the work not completed. I said I would be happy to issue a new one and be present when they came back on the 16th to finish the job. My appointment for the 16th was subsequently cancelledDesired Settlement: I would like Ash Busters to honor the crown warranty and replace it, and to perform tuckpoint/mortar work as quoted. I would just like them to make an appointment, stick to it, and complete the work as quoted/promised in a timely fashion.
