The customer brought her can into the shop for an insurance repair that called for the right headlight to be replaced with a recycled (used) headlight After the repairs were completed the customer said that the headlight would quit working at times Her insurance company advised us to take the car to the Honda dealership and have it diagnosed They determined that the used headlight that her insurance company paid for was faulty We then replaced the light with a different headlight (new) at our expense She has been back to the shop on numerous occasions to have various things (taillight bulbs and fuses) replaced on her car that were not related to her accident and we fixed them out of a courtesy to her Now one year later she came back to the shop stating that her left headlight was not working I then told her we would change out the bulb for her if it needed to be done, but the problem she was now having with the headlight was in no way related to her accident We checked the light and it was working She picked her car up the following morning I then received a phone call from her daughter threatening me and my shop with a lawsuit Ms [redacted] then walked in the office raising her voice and cursing in front of other customers The problems that she is having now with her car are in no way related to anything that we have fixed for her She was told that if she believes that the headlight messing up is wreck related then she would need to contact her insurance company and make that determination Desired Settlement: Ms [redacted] needs to contact her insurance company if she feels that the headlight trouble she is having is accident related We have fixed everything that we were paid to fix plus numerous other things that we fixed for her out of courtesy
