Regards,
Review: I bought a brand new house from Ashburn Homes in December of 2014. I notified them immediately that there was an issue with the temperature upstairs. It is 10 degrees colder in winter, and 10 degrees hotter in the summer. It is now August and the problem not resolved. I get promises every so often, I leave messages every so often, but they do not seem to care. I am told they are handling it but 9 months later is ridiculous.Desired Settlement: I will need either the insulation problem fixed if that is the problem, or a new hvac unit upstairs if that is the problem. The upstairs and downstairs temperatures should not be 10 degrees difference.

Response:
Mr. [redacted] did buy a house from Ashburn Homes Incorporated on December, 2014. The first time we heard that Mr. [redacted] hadan issue with the HVAC system was on 1/14/15, that same daY-1 sent a service request to Chesapeake Climate Control and they resolved the issue on 1116/15. The second time, Mr. [redacted] called Chesapeake Climate Control in March, 2015 and Chesapeake Climate Control went out to the house on 3/27115 and installed new ducting in basement and install new trunk to attic area to supply more flow to 2nd floor bedrooms. We also sent Chesapeke Climate Control on 4/6/15 to raise the ducts in the basement because Mr. [redacted] had complaint about ducts being too low. Finally we found out in August, 2015 that there was a small area inthe attic that didnot have enough insulation, so we sent Delmarva Insulation Company on 8/25/15 to add insulation to the attic. Last time I spoke to Mr. [redacted] after the insulation was installed, Mr. [redacted] said that the issue had been resolved. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at [redacted]
