I am rejecting this response because:
I was contacted on 3/14/by Jason of Ashco Exteriors to find out how I wanted him to respond to the Revdex.comI informed him of my concerns about the drip edge on my house and that he can respond however he wants to the Revdex.comMy insurance company did not include the gutters in the quote for the repairsThey did however include the downspouts and gutter screen which I did not want to replace due to the fact that I was not planning on keeping my guttersAt that point, the winds from the previous day had knocked pieces of the drip edge in question off of my houseI asked Jason if the drip edge should be able to stay on the house independent of the gutter which he replied yes toJason informed me that they were sending someone to come to my house and assess the drip edge and that Jason would follow up with me on Friday 3/17/I urged him to have the person coming to my house call me so that I can make sure he has access around the houseI never received a call, no ever came to my house that I am aware of and Jason never followed up with me at the end of the weekFrom the beginning, I wanted someone to come look at the drip edge to make sure it was not going to be an issueI thought, since I was still within the warranty period, this would not be a problem for Ashco to check on their workmanshipJason mentioned on the phone last Tuesday, that my roof is no longer under warranty with them, which is fine, but when he told me that he would send someone out to my house to take a look at it, I expected him to do soThat shows me what their word means anywayI have since had a different contractor fix the drip edge that Ashco Exteriors did not install correctlyAccording to the contractor I hired, it was barely nailed in and was not very secureI will not, nor do I suggest anyone using Ashco Exteriors as they wont come back and check their workmanship when the customer has legitimate concerns and will not keep their word when they say they will do something

To Whom This May Concern: On 2/5/16, Ashco Exteriors, Inc., installed a new roof per Manufacturer’s specifications and building codes Due to a hail storm, Insurance paid for: roof, vents, gutters and drip edge. The home owner declined to replace gutters so we had to work around
existing gutters that were fastened to the fascia. In order to work around the gutter straps we had to individually notch the NEW drip edge around every strap holding the gutters in place. Again, the home owner’s insurance company paid for new gutters but the owner declined to have us replace themThe homeowner called Ashco on 2/10/(over a year after completion of the job) and told us that he removed his gutters and found that the drip edge had been notched to go around the hangers securing the gutters to the house and wanted us to replace it After reviewing all the signed paperwork between Ashco and the homeowner we found nothing mentioning that the home owner planned on removing the gutters in the future Ashco considers this to be additional work and not warranty work. We informed the homeowner that Ashco would be happy to replace this drip edge at a breakeven cost for ($500) Respectfully, Jason ***
