Revdex.com:I have read the response That Ashcroft has responded withAs far as them replacing my ring yes they areBut lets be very clear I have ALWAYS had my ring inspected it was on their end that I never received paper work or at that matter even inspected itAs far as how much my ring is yes I did find my paper work (which they have) and paper work states 9,ring give or takeI will upload this paperwork as well once I have it backBut like I told the gentleman on the phone I could care less if I paid or 12,for a ring the way this whole situation was handled before *** reached out to me was one of the most unprofessional encounters I have hadLike I told *** when I called customer service the lady was laughing and carrying on with her colleague while she was on the phone with meRegardless My husband chose Ashcroft as his jeweler back in because he trusted themThis experience has shown me differentlyBut I will say I do appreciate them upholding their end of the warranty and from now on will ask for paperwork after inspections ( so I know its being inspected and not just cleaned) that I just recently learnt about
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved

In regards to complaint #[redacted] for guest [redacted]/[redacted] the guest brought in her ring to have her shank fixed. The guest had the ring cut off somewhere else because she could not remove the ring the shank was extremely misshapen. She paid $315 plus tax for the repair. Before working...

on it our jeweler alerted us that one of her baguettes was cracked and needed to be replaced before any work could be done on ring. We then notified the guest when she informed us that she maintains her inspections and it should be covered under our warranty. Upon checking in our system we found 2 inspections one was dated 1-5-13 and the most current was 11-22-13 we informed her she was not within her inspection period and we would get an estimate to replace. When we received the estimate from home office we contacted her, gave her the estimate and she opted for a no go. She came in to pick up her ring and we refunded her the $315 plus tax.   At no time did the guest present us with any paperwork showing her piece has been inspected at all let alone in the last 6 months. As for the claim that we would replace it if found at her last inspection, we would as long as it was inspected every six months, like their warranty states. In regards to her ring costing in excess of $12,000, the actual purchase price of the ring was $6150.   When receiving the correspondence from the Revdex.com I contacted my district manager [redacted] who contacted the guest. They settled on having another jewelers do the ring repair and we will replace the diamond at no charge, even though the guest has no record of her inspections.
