Just completed my Course studies from the UKWas a bit worried about the distance at first, as I'm in Manchester and the school is in the US, but the online e-Course format made the whole process rather simple, and made contacting the educators at the school very easy as wellAnother thing I liked, was that the accounting department at the school always made the "correct" exchange rates on my monthly tuition when converting from British Sterling to American dollars - very professional!

Purchased a sofa early 2015, the sofa was delivered late September In September the cushions on the sofa started breaking down and sliding to the back portion of the sofaI called numerous times and left messages, with no success of return callsI finally did speak to *** in customer service, she asked me to send pictures Pictures sent with no response Finally spoke to store manager who sent a repto our home to examine the sofa and it was determined that a stronger cushion replacement would be the solution Weeks went by until I finally called the store, and was told that I would have to pay for them I agreed to pay for the replacement It is now going into months and we still do not have our new cushionsI feel I have been more than patient $1,800.00, sofa should hold up better than this

Took this course while in the UK before returning to America, and was thoroughly pleased. A well eludicated connection between the European decorative arts and their North American counterparts gave me a very comprehensive understanding of "world" styles and influences.
The e-Course lived up to it's billing and proved easily navigable and accessible - no problems whatsoever with Course downtimes or anything like that - which was a pleasant surprise.
Some of my "continental" terminology proved a bit odd at first, but they had answers for that as well with multiple glossaries throughout the study plans.

A year later, as a graduate, I just wanted to drop a line and let people know what a super program this is... from start to finish. As a business, they were professional and courteous, but mostly, I really liked the fact that they did what they said they would. My tests, coursework, results, etc. were all sent and returned as promised, and reps always answered the phones whenever I had questions - a rarity I've found with most businesses today.
Based on my experience with this school over a period of 12 months, I'd rate Asheford as an exceptional organization both in their courseware and business practices. Their A+ rating is certainly deserved in my opinion.

I work on the east coast at a large auction house, and was given the opportunity to participate in this program through work. My schooling was funded by my employer, so while my experience is obviously subjective, it certainly wasn't influenced or tainted by any financial considerations on my part. That being said, I would say that my employers got some great value for their money, while I gained a wealth of new information and understanding that I could apply to not only my own job, but to my own personal area of collecting as well. The lesson assignments, testing, and coursework I found quite challenging, but presented in a very skillful manner that encouraged learning. As someone with an Art History degree, I was stunned at how little I apparently really knew of the "other" decorative arts. As far as the school itself, the administrative representatives were easily accessible, as were the teachers, and other faculty. Having now gone through this program, I would gladly have paid for it myself, knowing what I know now! (Though thanks to Mike & Nick for covering it anyway! :-)
Have taken a number of post-secondary courses over the years and this one ranks as one of the best. I found their online program easily navigable, and really enjoyed the option of being allowed to print the material so I could have a hard-copy reference for later use.
Good turnaround times on my assignments, and the folks behind the phones were also really helpful. Sometimes the pass-code keys were reset unbeknownst to me, but it was easily and quickly obtained when I called or emailed.
