My name is *** and I went to apply for an apartment on 07/17/2020 and I paid $250.00 for a background check and application. I spoke to Mr. *** and he submitted my application. On July, 20th, 2020, I was informed that I missed a security question and that I had been denied the apartment. I was told that I would receive $150.00 back in 3 or 4 days. It would be placed back on my debit card. I looked for the money to return on my Bank of America card but I never got my money refunded to me. I called the office on 07/28/2020 and was told that they would check with their manager about when I would receive a check in the mail. I told Mr. *** that it took five minutes for them to withdraw $250.00 form my card so why will it take two or three weeks for me to receive my refund of $150.00. He said that is the way that corporate handles things. I asked him if there was a manager that I could speak to and he said that they only respond to emails. He told me to email management @ ***@s2res.com. I am very upset because I need that money to find a place to reside. Therefore, I am not happy with Asher Apartments and I would like to have an investigator look into this business. There is nobody to speak to regarding my money and I am tired of waiting on my funds. It seems like this is a rip off and I need to get my money back immediately.
Applicant *** applied for an apartment and was denied July 21st. It usually takes about 2 weeks to receive since we are practicing social distancing and now we have to get refund checks mailed out to us rather than me picking them up from corporate. I also spoke with Brian and explain to him but he was rude and cursing in the office even though I have explained to him the first time when he asked for the refund. He will be receiving it this week since it will be 2nd week. If you any questions feel free to contact me. Thanks!

I submitted the application on July 16, 2020. Today is August 4th. That is 19 days since I submitted my application. I spoke to *** a few days after I submitted my application and she told me that my money would be refunded to me back on my card in three or four days. Clearly that was a lie. *** , lied and told me that I would receive my refund in two weeks and again he lied to me. Now it is going on three weeks and I have still not received my refund. I need my money in order to submit an application to another apartment complex. I am angry because *** and *** continue to lie to me and hold on to my money.
