We had two entry doors and two storm doors installed. They offer good products and have good installers. I think Asher's is expensive but I don't know for sure because I was frustrated trying to get contractors to give me an estimate. I called Asher's, they sent consultant Steve.
We had our first experience with Asher's in 1997 when Steve [redacted] visited our home to plan a new sunroom. Steve actually helped us decide on the size and windows for the room.
We have never been happier with a building project. The construction and the completion of the room went very smoothly.
We have had many neighbors and friends rave about our sunroom.
Also, we had a few minor repairs needed(one was a design of the roof ridge) and all the this was done at no extra cost as I'm sure the warranty had expired.
So needless to say, we're very pleased with the product and workmanship from Asher's.
I may add that I was a winner of one the $500 dollar drawings in 2014 and was able to replace the front gutters for only an additional $19.00!
We intend to in time to discuss some window replacements.
Review: I had a sales representative for [redacted] come to my home to sell me windows. I signed a contract for the windows and gave a 50% deposit of $2594.90. A week later I was contacted by [redacted] and told that the windows the sales person sold me (and were written into the contract) did not exist. The windows closest to what I wanted would be over $9000 (price on contract was $5189.80), because of the mix up however-- they were very sorry-- and would be willing to do those windows for $7000. I told him I did not have a $7000 window budget, was upset about being sold the wrong (non existing) product, and would have to get back to him. 2-3 days later I called to speak with [redacted] and was told that he was in a meeting. I left a message for him that we would not be able to do business and to rip up my check being that our contract could not be fulfilled. I went on to give my phone number-- and make it clear-- that if he had any questions or needed to speak to me to call me back right away. I did not know at this time that my check had already been cashed. 2 weeks later (11/15/13) upon doing our monthly finances, I see that our check had been cashed on 10/15/13. I immediately called the office at [redacted] and left a voicemail with all the information and requested a return phone call. I also called [redacted]'s cell phone (he had given me his number during our first exchange) but got a recording telling me his voicemail was full. I called again Monday morning 11/18/13 to the cell number (same recording) and left a message with his office. I proceeded to do the same thing on 11/19 and 11/20. On 11/21 I was finally able to leave a message on his cell phone. I also left a message at his office (with the same lady that has taken all my messages) at roughly 9am and again at 1:30. She assured me that he has gotten all my messages and did not know why he had not returned my calls. Informed me that his calendar has had it on there to call me back for days, she had left messages on his desk, chair, and had personally handed one to him (the one from that morning).Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded my $2594.90 that I put down on windows that don't exist and labor that will never be done.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I am writing in regard to complaint ID # [redacted]. As soon as I left a message to inform them that I would be contacting Revdex.com (and did) I finally received a call back (same day). My refund check was received in the mail yesterday. I have yet to cash it, as it is Sunday, but I don't foresee that being a problem.
Service was great! The guys were on time, pleasant and respectful.
Very pleased with the work that was done. I highly recommend Asher's! The craftsmanship is excellent and the installers were very polite and got the job done in a timely manner. Asher's exceeded our expectations.
The installers did a great job. I was pleased to see that they were very neat and laid down a cloth in their work area. They were very diligent in cleaning up on the outside too! The windows look beautiful and are easy to operate and clean. I'm extremely happy with Asher's!
