Ashford Lakes Apartments

Roach problem in my house since the first night my family and I have moved inMy family and I moved in to what we thought was our new home on June 10,2016. Every since that night we have experiencing nothing but these really huge bugs. some in different shapes and sizes. My wife and I have expressed our concern with the leasing office staff and countless times they have blown us off and even asked us " what type of bugs they were" and "we shouldnt worry because theyre not the type that come in groups". Since then theyve sent pest control numerous times. They even did a so called treatment and told us it takes 2 weeks to work. Since then its only gotten worst. Pest control even set down bug traps and in no time they quickly filled up with about 3 or 4 different types of bugs. The house was supposedly renovated before we moved in. Its a ton of gaps between the floor and molding. Its more than enough space for insects to come and go freely. I also found huge gaps under the sink of the bathrooms that were filled in with plastic grocery bags. After researching online its been alot of previous tenants that complained about the same problem dating back to 2012. Ive even spoken with neighbors that have had the same problem and said " they were simply tired and exhausted from going to the office so many times". We have even gotten to the point where we have started taking pictures of the bugs alive and dead to prove there existence because all the office says is they dont see them when they come by. Since then I expressed to them how I researched different agencys online that deal with this problem and after the a while you have to determine the problem cant be fixed they have to legally let us out of our lease and they brushed us off again. My children are so terrified of the bugs and they dont deserve to live like this.Desired SettlementMoney back and free and clear from my lease
