 I have Police report from [redacted] Police Dept regarding this [redacted] and will attatch it on request. This business got rid of  my suv and is running out of stories. All am asking is my suv or infomation where to recover it.

He has my number and claimed to have misplaced it. I came to the business and was told he was not there. I paid him for his service and he was to put the receipt in the car. He refused to provide information on whom he gave my car.  I need my car or reimbursement of value of the car. I filed a complain at [redacted] POlice dept and it did not have record of the business call.   [redacted]

1999 [redacted]/ approximately 165,000 miles.    The vehicle arrived on a trailer behind our shop on 11/04/2016, it would only go forward. The customer requested we check it out but not repair it. We originally thought maybe the parking brake was locked up ,which could allow it to go forward, but not backwards. We determined the transmission was internally destroyed and the only way to get the car to back out out of my shop was to remove the rear driveshaft so we could push it outside. He came back later and only paid me a small diagnostic fee, and I told him if he wanted a receipt to come upstairs and I will write one up (which is what I have always done). He did not come up for me to write a slip, so I never got his information recorded. He stated he would be back with a tow truck to get it removed. I told him it could not stay here more than (2) two days, or storage fees will incur. Also the car was unregistered, no license plates, no paperwork, flat tires, customer took out the battery, transmission did not work and, the engine barely ran. Up until approximately December 20th we never heard from the customer, and the fact the vehicle didn't move under it's own power presented a problem with snow removal. I approached an [redacted] Police officer and he agreed that it was an abandoned junk vehicle and said to do what I had to with the vehicle. At this point a junk yard was called to take it away. The customer then appeared at our shop at closing time on December 30th demanding his car. I informed him that he left the car at my shop for almost (2) two months without contacting us, and that I gave it way more time than I should have for him to get it out of here. I asked him why he thought he could just leave this junked car on our property for almost (2) two months for no charge. His response was that he was busy and sick. I don't feel that we acted unreasonable in any way, but it was unreasonable for him to leave his car here without any form of contact.

In regards to the phone call made to us on January 26, 2017. [redacted] has misinformed you with his contact information being left with us. He was asked to go to the front office and leave his personal information with manager but in turn drove off. He asked for us to disengage the...

transmission and he would be back within one week to have it towed out of our lot. The vehicle was ready for pick up later on the same afternoon. Mr. [redacted] neglected contact with us for a total of two months leaving an unregistered vehicle with us. We assumed it was abandoned. We have been in contact with the authorities in our town and have considered this matter no longer an issue.
