customer’s situation, our records indicate that at this time no further money is owed back to the customer.  The customer was charged $2397.32 for his original sofa, loveseat and recliner.  After some parts delays, it was determined that we would pick up the original set and issue store credit in the amount of $2397.32.  The customer chose a more expensive set to which the store discounted down to $2397.32 as compensation for the delays.  In addition to this discount, the store gave the customer a TV stand valued at $600.00 for free. In regards to the additional $400.00 the customer feels he is owed, we invite the customer to visit the retail location with his original paperwork.  The store would be more than happy to go over everything in detail with him to make sure everything is correct. Would like company to reimburse for expenses of getting rid of the bed bugs in bedroom.

Thank you for the update from Mr. [redacted]. As we previously
advised Mr. [redacted] had a one year manufacture warranty which expired
12/2/2008. As a courtesy to our dedicated customer we did inspect the furniture
on 03/12/2011. The furniture was identified as meeting all specifications. All
seat cushions will in time often soften with normal wear and tear. This is not
considered a loss of resiliency or material manufacture defect.As Mr. [redacted] is a valued customer, our retail location
presented him with a discount offer of 50 percent towards a new purchase. He
has declined this offered seeking an additional 25 percent. We feel that our
offer has made good faith effort to assist Mr. [redacted]. At this time the offer
of 50 percent still stands, and we invite him to contact the retail location

or pickup that can be provided.  It is unfortunate that the manufacture supplies and availability do sometimes change beyond our own control.  We have confirmed that the delivery was completed on 12/19/14 and the furniture was in good condition. As gesture of goodwill we have agreed to refund the delivery fee to our customer. All refunds may take 14 business days to be completed. holes, etc. on the unit, we will issue the refund based on how this item was purchased.

received from the LA Broadway Store, I will also be attaching the documentation that they had provided:“Service Request notes sates that sale was lowered by $100 and customer was sent $50 gift card due to the inconvenience.  As per lamps, they were returned here to store as UPS stated that customer had moved. Notes on lamps at store states that customer was contacted twice that item was returned here to sender.  Account Receivables notes shows customer financed $1331.10 and customers’ purchase history shows that $1231.10 was delivered, showing that $100 was reduced from sale.  If customer did not receive the gift card we can go ahead and resend a $100 for the inconvenience.  As for lamps, customer can pick up from store or we can resend or we can credit the $49.99 that was billed for the lamps”It does appear that the store has addressed all of their concerns and are waiting for a response back form the customer. I am rejecting this response because: When I went to Ashley furniture location in Eatontown, NJ; and informed the saleswoman of my complaint, she informed me that the set I purchased was out of stock and that Ashley would be responsible for replacing my furniture with another set, she also told me to damage the set even more. I didnt't make anymore damages to the property. Ashley furniture sent me covers for the cushions, however, their are damages on the arms and base of the furniture. I feel that I am entitled to a new furniture set.

Upon review of the customer's claim I show that

9/10/we offered a full replacement of the customer's bedPer the customer's
terms and conditions once the furniture is signed for it does belong to the
customerIf the customer was looking to return the product they should have sent
it back with the drivers at the time of deliveryOnce the customer has signed
their delivery receipt they have signed that they have received their product
in good conditionAs a courtesy Ashley Furniture was going to allow a
technician to come out to repair the customer's furniture since they called
right after deliveryThe customer refused the technician and at that time we
offered an exchange for new piecesI do apologize but at this point Ashley
Furniture would stick with the previous options given to the customer and would
be happy to either exchange the pieces or have a technician come out to repair
the issues with the furniture
