I am rejecting this response because:
I am not happy with the response. There were other complaints reportedonline from Ashley Furnitire store. I will no longer purchase any other Furnitire from Ashley Furnitire in the future. I have no bed but still left with a balance.

We will gladly allow the consumer reselect a set that she would be happy with.  She can call and speak with customer service to help facilitate the replacement or she can call me back at the number I left on her voice mail.

I am rejecting this response because: No one dropped the merchandise when unloading and IF we did dropped it then I wouldn't have filed this complaint with the store or with Revdex.com. So tell me, how do you know as the owner of the store that my merchandise was not damaged by your warehouse employees when it was delivered to your warehouse? Were you there when it was delivered or when it was moved and I know you weren't there when we picked up the merchandise. How would you know if your employees are careful with your customers merchandise? When we picked up our merchandise, the employees were not careful with it and didn't know how to load it so thats why I had to step in. Put yourself in my shoes.. I also got an email from [redacted] with [redacted], she said there should be a warranty on the merchandise. She said warranty should cover it. Not once have you mentioned warranty on the merchandise.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Today, I had a "Bug Inspector" come out and access the situation. He has indicated that the couch does not have ants and maggots but termites and their larvae and he has confirmed that they came from the sofa. I have requested his report which he will provide within a few business days. I have never had termites in my home since I have lived here 6 years. Ashley furniture has indicated their product is sealed upon arrival, but I contest that the sofa was just wrapped in plastics and some parts came in boxes, which termites could easily get into at the warehouse their furniture is stored. It would not be cost effective to cover infestation on their warranty. I have never had a problem of had to file a complaint with Revdex.com and I am so disappointed by their response and lack of ownership or customer service to my problem. The couch is less than a month old, I should not be having this problem. The terminated and there larvae are only in one sofa, if it were a problem in my house they would be in al my furniture Orr at least within my house. Can I take any further action or is this a lost cause?

After review of the photos, Ashley Furniture has offered Mr. [redacted] an in-store credit of 50 percent of the unit cost. We would like to take this opportunity to apologize for Ms. [redacted] not being notified with regards to the time frame change and also for the drivers arriving 30 minutes outside of the specified time window. Ashley Furniture time frames are 4 hours in length. We ask is that customers be available during that specified time frame. Our drivers are instructed to call customers 30 minutes prior to arrival. I had to argue with them to get them to drop the late fees and I paid the entire bill to protect my credit. I went to the store to pay this bill after talking to a [redacted] at [redacted] and was told I could not pay the bill at the store that I would have to mail it in. [redacted] the district manager never called as I was told she would. I still believe a class action suit should be filed. I am still not satisfied with the furniture and would like a full refund and have it removed from my house.

Thank you for the update on [redacted]’s complaint.  We have contacted the retail location the purchase was made at.  When the sale was canceled the authorization of the sale was not canceled completely.  This has been completed now and a refund request has been submitted.  This should show up on the next bill.
