We do regret to hear of your dissatisfaction and take these matters very... seriously. Upon review of the customer’s complaint the customer has signed all terms and agreements. The customer was fully aware of our damaged merchandise procedure when signing the congratulations sheet. If the customer was unhappy with the product it should have all been sent back with the drivers at the time of delivery and not just one item. Ashley Furniture has also reviewed the customer’s delivery receipt stating they have accepted their furniture and it is in good condition and the customer signed the receipt and did not make any notes as to any damages. At this point Ashley Furniture will still offer one of the following options, an even exchange of the damaged pieces, or parts and a technician. The Ashley Furniture Homestore where the customer has purchased from has been trying to reach out to the customer to review these options. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY! We have had nothing but problems with two chairs we purchased from them in January 2019. The cushions began to fail, slanting to one side after 3-4 weeks. They replaced the first set of chairs. When the new set was delivered, they appeared fine, but after about 3 weeks we began to notice the same problem. They sent out a tech who acknowledged the slant, but his report said nothing is wrong, customer preference. Also, they never followed up with a call letting me know what the tech said and I had to physically go into the store because no one would answer the phones. They said they could give me store credit, but no refund unless a tech deemed it a manufacturing defect. I wanted a refund, due to what appeared to me to be extremely poor customer service, I didn’t want to purchase anything else from Ashley. It was then suggested another tech come out, so we followed their suggestions. This tech was very sympathetic, said he could definitely see the cushions were slanted to one side, put it in his report, but then said this is normal. I even spoke with corporate several times (because everyone was sending me back and forth between the store and corporate). Last week a person at corporate said that they would speak to the store and would have someone from the store contact me with a resolution. A week went by and no contact which I have found to be a normal policy with Ashley, there is no proper follow up. So I contacted the store only to be told that Now, they will not only give me a refund, but they won’t let me return the chair for a store credit. Therefore I am stuck with junk chair that hurt my back due to the slanted cushion. If you buy from Ashley and there is a problem with the furniture, you are stuck with it!

I am rejecting this response because:I was given hours to change my mind if all sales are final then my order shouldn't have been changed and I shouldn't have been given the hoursI wouldn't have signed anything if I wasn't told and it was written on my order that I had the hours You claim that you have worked with me but from the begining I was uneasy about finalizing the purchace hence I was given the hoursI spoke with three different employees from your store about cancellation all verballyThe merchandise my husband ordered is already in our home and we are satisfied with the service and the productYour employees and store policies are horrible and not customer friendlyThe sale that was changed was not finalized and I didn't sign anything on that orderThe down payment was for the original order that was selected while I was in the store and I was again given hours to finalizeI do not want the merchandise and have made myself quite clearI have been told that if I spoke with someone about cancellation it would be cancelledIt makes no sense to argue about canceling a product order that I don't have.

I want what I paid for. I didn't wait in line in degree weather to be pushed around by this company and their advertising. What Ashley Furniture has done, and is doing, is wrong. How many other people have been cheated or wronged by this type of practice? What about in the future? How many other people have to be cheated before this type of practice will stop? Ashley Furniture can either give me the 55" Toshiba LED that I purchased or we can let the courts decide. I am not going to give up on this
