Ashley furniture gave us false information when we purchased a bed from them. I walked in the office ***.They initially said we can get taxes reimbursed if we provide a prescription prior to “delivery date” being *** they said we can get taxes reimbursed for medical reasons. I went ahead and got the prescription, provided it to Ashley furniture and they said since the bed was already delivered there is nothing they can do. I told them they manipulated the verbiage on delivery date. I was thinking when I give *** not when the bed was delivered. In addition, I sent it off to corporate office and corporate called me back saying they do not know what I am talking about, I spoke to Carrie she was as completely unprofessional fumbling on her words, and kept saying Ashley does not even take prescriptions but I told her so how did your local office say you even do? So now we are at a problem where one local location lured me in a vulnerable position at the time when I was *** with false information (twice) and when bringing corporate involved they are saying we do not know what we are talking about. Where is the accountability in this ?

I am rejecting this response because: Ashley furniture told me a different method to get this resolved if providing a prescription at the local store. I do not understand how the corporate office is not aware of this procedure being implemented. I feel like I was misinformed on purpose. Because when I turned in my doctor prescription they said I can only do it before the bed is delivered, how does the corporate office not know of this at all and not taking accountability?

On November 05, 2019 I placed an Order for 2 end tables with Charging Stations built in, on one Separate Order and an Electric Adjustable Bed with Mattress on the Second Order, to be delivered on November 08, 2019 with full set up of all delivered items of both Orders. On November 08, 2019 at around 03:00 pm. the delivery truck arrived with what I thought were the items we had ordered. The delivery personnel brought in the Frame and Mattress, we directed them to the bed room where the Bed would be housed, they placed the bed in the room and the two End Tables were placed in the Livingroom along with there legs, or what we thought were the legs still in their boxes were placed on our Dining Table. The Delivery Persons Set-up the Bed and brought paperwork for signing. There were Two Orders being delivered on the same Delivery Truck and we thought there were Two Work Orders to be signed at the end of each completion. After we signed the Delivery Set-up Work Order they took the form and went to their truck, we thought they may have gone to get tools to complete the Order for the End Tables, they left without completing the assembling of the two tables. I called the Store so they could have them return and finish the assembling of the delivery. While I was on the Phone my spouse decided to assemble the legs on the End Tables himself but only one of the Boxes they left on our dining table had the correct legs for one table, the other box had legs for another table un like the one he had just assembled. when I spoke with he sales person that sold us the Tables, he said he would correct the problem tomorrow when he came in to work the next day because he was off and was in the parking lot going home. The next day we had to call him and he started giving us Phone Numbers to persons that could correct the mix- up. At that time I was told I could not return the products to the store or have the products picked up because they have a NO RETURN POLICY. and there was no place to return them to. I asked to have the missing legs brought to my home so we could use the table and pick up the legs that goes to someone else's table that they left at my house. I told her someone has my table legs and we have theirs, couldn't you just deliver these to them and bring the ones to this table to us? No, we will have to Order a replacement set of Legs and it will take two or three weeks and you should receive them in the mail, that was when I asked her to have these two table picked up the order has not been delivered as agreed and that they are not complete. No! she said. This phone call was made Nov. 09, 2012 and to date we have a table without legs sitting in a corner waiting to be completed. They were very rude with the way they are handling this situation without any resolution in sight. They are committing Consumer Fraud Through Advertising their services and dealings to the consumer on the phone when you contact them, on the television and the other medias such as radio stations etc. where advertising is purchased.
