I already responded to complaint ID #***I am tired of dealing with this client and this frivolous and quite ridiculous complaintI should charge her another $for my time that she is wasting See attached:

I had the terrible displeasure of working with *** *** on a logo for her businessShe had completely unrealistic expectations regarding the work she was receiving, and her complaint is completely frivolous and unwarrantedShe is the one who is responsible for her dissatisfaction with my
services, not meRegarding the work itself - I was hired to do a logo, which involves a design process that has a lot of back and forth with the client and the designer do to the custom and subjective nature of the workBefore starting on the project, I let her know my policies, that I require half upfront, which is non-refundable due to the nature of the work (and never in my years of business has anyone ever asked for a refund or complained about the quality of my work), and that the process involves quick pencil sketches, followed by digital designs and then a completed logo with all of the necessary files After sending over the pencil sketches - which are rough by design, they are simply used for idea generation and general composition of the logo, and are not the logo itself - *** *** completely flipped out regarding the fact that I sent her pencil sketches instead of completed work, and demanded a refundHer claim was that my sketches were nothing like we discussed (actually, they were exactly as discussed), and that they were not "elegant" enoughSketches are never elegant, they are always rough by designRough sketches are turned into elegant designs, that is the nature of this workI assumed that this was a terrible misunderstanding and that the client did not understand the design process, so I kindly informed her again of the process, apologizing for the misunderstanding, and assured her I would continue to work with her until she was satisfied. In response what I got was an incredibly rude and indignant reply about how I don't know what I'm doing, that I can't draw, and that the work on my website is advertisingThe works on my website are finished works, not sketches, and took 40+ hours to complete, well outside of her budgetShe refused to work with me, refused to see out the design process to completion (at no additional cost until the final logo is sent over), and continued to demand a refundHad she not been so indignant and worked with me instead of immediately resorting to a *** dispute (before I could even answer her over a holiday weekend), she would of been very satisfied with the work I would of done for her, just like all of my other clients have been. In this business, clients who do that are ones who want free work and free ideas (and based on how she has handled this, its quite clear she was seeking free work) - it is a very common problem in the design fieldWhen I called her out on this, she arbitrarily changed the amount she wanted refunded, so instead I work for cheap and not freeShe does not deserve a refund, and I will not be giving her oneIt is not my fault she is too willfully ignorant to allow the design process to take its courseI am not responsible for her dissatisfaction whatsoever. Attached is the email correspondence in which you can see that everything I am saying here is the truth, and that *** *** is now resorting to bullying tactics by dragging my name through the mud to get a refund. Sincerely, *** ***-- *** *** Graphic Design & Illustration

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

In the beginning of our agreement [redacted] never said there was a no refund policy until the time I requested a refund. Therefore I should be able to get a refund because there was no refund policy in place when we first made an agreement. Her work was not what we discussed at all and I was highly dissatisfied. When I expressed this to  the designer, instead of handling things professional she called me rude names and handled everything in a very distasteful way. Even after being verbally assaulted I still tried to remain professional with the designer and even tried to work with her and I asked for a partial refund. She still remained very unprofessional and I received the worse customer experience I have ever experienced in my life. I am very familiar with the design process because I have worked with graphic designers before. There was no way I was trying to get work for free. I simply was very displeased with the sketch I received because it was nothing what we discussed. She never mentioned a refund policy to me until I requested  one which you should be able to see in the email correspondence she provided. I am simply trying to resolve the issue with her so I can move on. At this point I am feeling very taken advantage of and disappointed with the service I have received. I am in no way trying to drag her name through the mud I am simply trying to get a resolution to the issue. Thank you.

Review: I hired Ashley Handlin to do a logo design for me and what we discussed was something very fancy, elegant, and classy. She told me her process about how she does sketches first, then graphics when I approve of a sketch. However the sketches I received were extremely different than what we discussed. At that point I decided I no longer wanted to continue doing business with her because from the very beginning of the process I was highly dissatisfied. I have seen many people sketch and the sketches she sent to me were awful, they did not even come close to anything we had discussed. I did not receive what I asked or paid for. After expressing that I did not want to continue with her services and that I would like a refund, I was told there are no refunds. No time before this was I informed about a refund policy. After being told this I put in a dispute with [redacted] which [redacted] escalated to claim and they did not decide in my favor because services such as graphic design are not protected under their buyer protection policy, so there was nothing they could do about it; otherwise they would have decided in my favor. I was then told by [redacted] that what I did was unacceptable, as if I am a child and not her customer. She not only refused to give me even a partial refund, but went on to verbally assault me calling me crazy and insane. Even after the disrespect and unprofessionalism I tried to resolve the issue with [redacted]. I have emails to prove everything I am saying. I received the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was taken advantage of and treated with disrespect. I clearly did not receive what I asked for or paid for and I still tried to resolve the issue with the poor service I was receiving. I am highly dissatisfied and highly disappointed with her service and customer service. I have never dealt with such horrible customer service. I would not recommend anyone to do business with this graphic designer; very unprofessional, will take advantage, and try to get over on you.Desired Settlement: I understand that she does not want to work for free, even though she did not deliver what I asked for or what I thought I was paying for. I will still treat her with the respect I wish I was given and remain professional, so I am requesting a partial refund of $105.00. This is a fair amount that I am hoping we could settle on. Thank you.

After sending over the pencil sketches - which are rough by design, they are simply used for idea generation and general composition of the logo, and are not the logo itself - [redacted] completely flipped out regarding the fact that I sent her pencil sketches instead of completed work, and demanded a refund. Her claim was that my sketches were nothing like we discussed (actually, they were exactly as discussed), and that they were not "elegant" enough. Sketches are never elegant, they are always rough by design. Rough sketches are turned into elegant designs, that is the nature of this work. I assumed that this was a terrible misunderstanding and that the client did not understand the design process, so I kindly informed her again of the process, apologizing for the misunderstanding, and assured her I would continue to work with her until she was satisfied. In response what I got was an incredibly rude and indignant reply about how I don't know what I'm doing, that I can't draw, and that the work on my website is false advertising.
