I am rejecting this response because:Ashton Allen started on my house in early October 2016.The following projects were to be finished within a reasonable amount of time:Siding front of housewindows reframed/installedReplace moldy drywall, caulk/
spackle/texture to paint in several areasRun electric thru walls to lights with switch inside the doornew metal doors with hardwarenew storm doors"Custom made" crawlspace doorReplace siding on guest houseReplace windows on guest houseReplace defective windows main houseReplace subfloor 1/houseCaulk/cover holesLay down "wood flooring"Finish strip Trash removalInstall two insulated garage doors Paint exterior houseInstall patio and step at front doorIt is March and not even 1/of the projects are done much less completed.Beginning November 25, he became difficult and hard to deal with. Excuse after excuse came as to why they couldn't workI was left for ~weeks, Nov-Dec, with my front door blocked, electric wired in, exposed and HOT with no lights reinstalled, a 2xnailed to floor in dining area, which I fell over, no front toilet, washer and dryer in the living room, and a partially finished floorThe garage door guy stopped by my house to see if I wanted the doors as Ashton told him I didn't pay for themI wrote a check for to Ashton (full amount owed from contract agreement) plus a to Ashton for a "special order fee"The garage door guy stated the full cost was with no special order feeAshton still says I owe ~for garage door installation. I do notThis is why he dosnt like me talking to his sub contractors! His behavior became more and more explosive, hateful, volitile, money hungry and disrespectful when I inquired about the unfinished workHe has not finished one project since he startedHe kept coming up with "new proposals" he referred to as contracts when he didn't complete the original work I paid him ~*** last payment and he sent his sub contractor to lay the rest of the floor and paint 1/the house interiorI walked to the back rooms and was horrified to see the ceilings the same color as the wallsI questioned the sub and he said that's what he was told to doI was frustrated with Ashton and dropped a few tears but there was no hateful behavior on my part towards the subs as Ashton stated. I was upset and contacted Ashton by text regarding the issue and he went off on me saying I "changed my mind" re the ceiling paint and he was going to charge me for paint! We discussed it early on (when he was nice and pretending to care so he could swindle more money from me) ...white vs eggshell...he preferred eggshell. The finish work around the windows was not done before the paint, the replaced wall areas were not finished, just painted overThe quality of the work is sub standardThe plywood was standard plywood sheeting for walls, not meant for flooring, according to GaGulf and LowesAs mold was supposedly a huge problem, he told me he would use exterior plywood and paint a barrier to protect the new floor from moistureNo paint barrier, no exterior plywood, no caulk for the open areas of subfloor or caulk on outside wallsThe flooring has areas where plywood can be seen throughout the house. They left piles of trash piled in my yard and I kept asking about a dumpsterHe finally got one delivered from Sooner and it was 1/the size it was supposed to beI was forced to clean up two huge piles of flooring, windows, etcAs no one was responding to my request to clean upThe first piles I picked up had dozens upon dozens of mice nesting underneath, it had been there that long! Technically all the material in the dumpster came from my house so the bogus charge of using dumpster for personal use is rediculous, like himHis fees became more rediculous as time went onI asked for accountability and he went off in nasty demeaning hateful tiradesI became afraid to answer phone calls as he would yell at me and say such nasty abusive hateful things. I've asked him to deliver the materials I paid for and I get excuse after excuseOne morning I got in my truck and drove to his business address to possibly pick up materialsI didn't see his truck but I saw brand new siding being installed on the business/home addressLooked like the siding that should have been installed on my guest houseI took pictures and leftHe angrily texted me threatening legal actionThat was the business address he Gave meI just wanted my materialsIt was "Genes house" that day and his "ex wives house" in the letter to youWhere are my materials? He won't provide any at allHe twists the truth and says I owe him moneyI've paid him over 47k!! I have texts, e mails, audio and pictures to back me upI've been left with lots of work and worse off than when I hired himNo one representing him has been to my house since the bad paint job last monthHe will not deliver materials, will not complete work I hired him for and continually harasses meLast text told me be patient, working in TX, he'll squeeze in work for between jobs and I still owe him moneyI paid 47k last year, it's March and he's gonna squeeze me in with no promise to complete/start any work...What about my doors, storm doors, hardware, garage doors, paint, patio, siding, windows, etc....? I have not seen 47k worth of work done at my houseThis guy has a suspended business, a D rating and a complaint from a woman who has suffered at his hands saying she's afraid he preys on vulnerable womenAll according to Revdex.com recordsHe has a jury trial demanded from another woman coming up.I see a trend as he is preying on me right now(I told him up front I was chonically ill and I had a trust from my dad ..enuf info for him to take advantage and get as much from the trust as possible, in my opinion) He continues to harass me and not finish work but all the while he asks for moneyThe lies are amazing and added charges just crazyHe has not completed the work I hired him for and he was overpaidI owe him nothingHe owes me work, materials or money backI don't trust himI don't beleive himHe is up to no good. I'm sick of his abuse.Check his public records.
