I really enjoyed working with MrMcGee on the replacement of our sidingBeing a fairly new home owner and having never filed a claim before I was admittedly unaware of the many challenges and choices, but there was never a time when they were too busy to return my calls and no question I asked was ever treated as less than extremely importantI realize in hindsight the extra time it must have taken to break things down in detail and laymen’s terms, and I really appreciate that level of customer service, it turned a potentially stressful endeavor into a fun project where I always felt the reigns were in my hands Not only did I come away with a great looking quality product but I now feel educated enough about it to feel confident we made the right choice I feel we now have a trusted friend in the business that our family could recommend with confidence and whom we can call on should we have a project as complicated as building a new house or as simple as a question we’d feel silly asking someone else

Working with Ashton McGee on the replacement of our roof due to a hail storm turned a worrisome situation into a pleasurable experience Ashton's expertise and professionalism gave us the peace of mind that we were going to be taken care of from start to finishOnce the job was done Ashton's follow up and attention to detail was amazing This alone will give his competition a run for their money!

Ashton McGee Restoration Group was contracted to replace the roof, some hail damaged screens, and exterior painting at the [redacted] residence? This winter we received word that her heater cables were not working and shorting out out the breaker? We are not a electrical ? company so I asked [redacted] to contact the company that installed them to come out and diagnose the problem? We do many roofs a year with cables and when installing we simply raise them out of the way while re-roofing ? and then lay them back down the same way we found them when new shingles are laid? We have not ever had an issue or damaged a cable, so this would be the first out of hundreds of jobs? If it was found that somehow the roofing crew did damage a cable we would replace the cable? Also note that throughout the entire summer with all of the heavy rains, there were no issues with the actual [redacted] and its ability to shed water the was the same as prior to the roof build? ? [redacted] was called out by [redacted] ? They made her aware that per her prior contract with them that her Warranty was now voided because their work was disturbed when the roof was replaced? Ashton McGee Restoration Group was not aware of any warranty / prior contract , etc ? nor has any control over [redacted] and their warranty policies? Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do around the warranty issue? They also informed her that all her cables and gutter system now needed to be replaced if she wanted a new warranty instated and gave her a bid to do so, stating that? Ashton McGee Restoration Group is at fault and should file an insurance claim to pay for the replacement? ? Only other pertinent fact around the [redacted] is that State Farm Insurance did approve the Helmet for replacement and paid Mrs [redacted] in full for this? She elected to not replace it as it was very light cosmetic damage ? and cannot be seen at all.? ? In order for? Ashton McGee Restoration Group to replace to roof we must lift up the aftermarket [redacted] (we do not detach it from the gutter, only from the shingles)? We simply lift off the helmet where it lays on the shingle, we remove the old roof, and replace with new and lay the Helmet the same way we found? It is a very easy and non invasive process? ? This is common practice on all roof installs with a helmet type gutter system? The [redacted] s ability to shed water the way it was originally has not been compromised? Proven by a flawless water shedding ability through the entire summer of rain.? ? [redacted] made me aware of what [redacted] was stating? Ashton McGee Restoration Group did move forward at ? that time & hired a licensed electrician to visit the property and inspect the cables? He found no issues with the cables but did discover the issue? The electrical boxIt had been compromised by the elements? It was not attached properly and was open to the elements? Ice and water had gotten into the electrical system and there was corrosion as well? This was not an issue caused by the roofers nor did they work near this? This was clearly a prior issue? Ashton McGee Restoration Group did have the electrician move forward to remedy issue anyway and test it to make sure it was working when he left? I have attached that invoice? ? Since that fix, we have not heard from Mrs [redacted] until now regarding any issues, concerns, frustrations, or problems? ? Regarding the screensUpon a more thorough look at the screens, it was discovered that Mrs [redacted] has a custom Marvin screen with a burgler alarm attached? Ashton McGee Restoration Group cannot service this and made Mrs [redacted] aware of this? However, we did do some research to help her out and found a company that does service that specialty item? I got her the contact info so she could contact them? Like the [redacted] warranty, I cannot control another company and feel it should not reflect poorly on Ashton McGee Restoration Group.? We were? just trying to helpful? ? I am honestly at a loss as to how to proceed and what more Ashton McGee Restoration Group? can do? Here is a quick summary? Gutter Warranty - I do nat have control over this issue nor were we made aware prior to the roof build of this? I feel this would fall on the Homeowner to be aware and take necessary steps to avoid this prior to any work being doneGutter Cables - Upon electrical inspection which Ashton McGee Restoration Group provided, cables are fine and not damaged by crew? The electrical box was determined the issue and was fixed by? Ashton McGee Restoration Group? The electrical box was not damage caused by? Ashton McGee Restoration Group [redacted] - ? Sheds water correctly and did the entire summer - Homeowner has all of the funds by Insurance to replace them but elected not toScreens - Was discovered after the fact that they were a specialty item? Ashton McGee Restoration Group cannot fix? We made Mrs [redacted] aware that we cannot help her here and gave her a referral to someone who may.? Ashton McGee Restoration Group has addressed every call or request within hours of being made aware of any problem and remains committed to addressing any issue that may have been caused by the work completed by our company? ? ?

We could not have been more fortunate that [redacted] and [redacted] Restoration Group, LLC were recommended by several neighbors for our high end, weather related window and roof claim. We have never worked with a contractor with more integrity, reliability, and commitment to exceeding our expectations. What [redacted] Restoration said they would do, they did, and more.

We had a complex claim with several interior and exterior components. At the onset, [redacted] fully explained how the insurance process worked and gave us the necessary information to navigate each step and assure that rightful damage was taken care of and the claim was accurate and ultimately paid in a timely fashion.

[redacted] Restoration will treat your home as though it is theirs. [redacted] was present throughout the process and his crew was superb. We had high expectations and they were entirely met. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody and will use them again in the future.
