This has to be the place with the most horrific employees. They accuse you of not wanting to pay, telling you to find a new job when you can not pay them the amount they demand. When you tell them your average weekly earnings or money you spend on things they make you out to be a terrible person because they personally can’t afford it. I just wanted to set up a payment plan and I was accused of refusing to pay and told to get a new job when I can’t seriously afford the payment they want. Carol is the worst person on this entire planet to talk to. She hangs up on you and lies to you and makes things very personal and degrades you as a human being. Debt is not fun to begin with, but when you just want to do the right thing and pay they still can’t even do that for you.

I became aware of Ashwood Financial after a derogatory remark was added to my credit report. I had not been contacted by the company, so I decided to call to inquire about it. The first representative I spoke with, *** (I think) was very kind and understanding. She explained the situation and transferred me to a supervisor to try to help resolve the situation. The supervisor made several suggestions, but I had already explored these options previously for other reasons and knew they were not feasible given my current circumstances. When I tried explaining this to her she became incredible rude and started asking me completely inappropriate questions that had nothing to do with the current situation. She told me we were close to the same age and questioned why I was still in school, stating that I should have been done with school by now. When I explained that I was in a graduate program that requires several years of schooling and training, she accused me of lying about my income. She then stated that I should have never got married. The supervisor did not inform me that she was an attorney, so I am not sure why she was practicing outside of the scope of her job by providing legal advice. She was so rude that I was crying by the end of the call and decided to end it rather than put up with any additional verbal abuse. I would still like to resolve this matter, but she said that I have to call back and speak with her. I do not feel that is an option at this point because it was not a productive or helpful conversation. It's likely that I am not the only person she has done this to and I am requesting upper management takes appropriate steps to rectify this situation.

This dropped off of my credit report 2 months ago. Then this month, it popped back up. It is now showing that the open date is December 2018. I haven't been to this medical center in over 5 years. This collections agency has placed this back on my credit and is now claiming it as "new". I would like them to remove this from my credit immediately.

I have made numerous calls on numerous days at various times to obtain detailed information about this charge and the fact it is negatively impacting my credit. Does anyone EVER answer the phone?

I have an account listed on my credit reports from Ashwood Financial on behalf of *** in the amount of $2494 that does not belong to me. This loan was obtained fraudulently due to identity theft. I never signed a contract and I am not liable for this debt. It was once removed from my credit reports and has since then been added back on.
