Homeowner erroneously provided wrong set of plans for my company to submit bid upon. I submitted bid based on the wrong set of plans provided. We entered contract based on that bid, although homeowner was aware that they had changed plans. Once...

at the job site, I realized that there was something wrong with the plans provided to me. I contacted homeowner and that was the first time homeowner gave me the right plans. Upon my review of the right plans, I realized that my bid had to change. In some areas it went down, in most others, it went up due to the nature of the changes done by homeowner. They accused of overcharging based on these changes not being incorporated into the original contract, but they could not be in the original contract when I was provided the wrong plans.
Based on the above, homeowners were refusing to pay the remainder of my bill, and continuously asked me to do all their changes for free, as if it was the business's fault. We refused to do more labor for free and this complaint was filed when we firmly demanded our full payment. We believe that avoidance of making payment was the only reason this complaint was filed with accusations of incompetence etcetera. The business passed two framing inspections. The state, county, and city get to control quality in my industry, and we have passed requisite inspections with flying colors. The unsupervised accusation is another lie. Ashworth is a licensed contractor in good standing and all employees are properly trained and supervised as is evident by Ashworth's license in good standing.
We notice that the complainant did not mention in its complaint that they had not made final and full payment. Due to legal action, they have finally paid in full. Ashworth stands behind the quality of its work, its employees, and its pricing. The complainants received a quality job at a discounted price that passed two inspections.
