The reason all those parts where open and the engine had no oil is because we were working on the car to fix itwe had ordered parts and waiting to get them it was sitting on the jack when a tow truck driver walked in and said that Mrs [redacted] had requested to have the car picked upwith the driver sitting in my office we would need hours to put everything back together we asked the driver where the car is heading and he said another shopso we decided to put everything in the trunk and grant customer's request and allow the driver to pick up the carcouple days later we got all the parts that needed to fix the carwe had to return them and pay restocking feecouple weeks later the car shows up again on a tow truckwe are so sick and tired of the games Mrs [redacted] is playing we cant keep ordering parts trying to help Mrs [redacted] only to turn around and pay shipping cost and restocking feesso we decided to refuse the car and said we cant play those games and asked the driver to just not drop the car in our lot

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
If the shop ordered a rebuilt engine like we had agreed upon , instead of a "salvage yard, rusty, engine READY to be put in, we would not have been given a hazardous, "fire bomb", like we experienced after waiting almost a month for the "supposed"engine to arrive from "Indiana"
We gave them , "AL" the name and number of the rebuilt Japan Engine Incorpbased in San Fransisco ***; who would have shipped the engine with free shipping and for the cost of $2,600, this included the gaskets and all hose attachments
"Al " obviously wanted more than the $1,to install the engine which according to multiple local mechanics would have taken approx4-hoursInstead "AL" scrounge around until he found a rusty, salvage yard engine block and installed it knowing very well it would not run, started to smoke and over heat immediately after driving for less than one hour and then stated we had to bring it back in so it "wouldn't catch on fire"
*** Automotive mechanics took supporting their findings with pictures;stating in their report that it WAS NOT A REBUILT ENGINE, they also failed to attach the air conditioning system, which is now completely destroyed
Another disturbing concern is "AL"'s issue with divulging his full name, I doubt very much he is VINCENTO D***, which is the name registered to the business according to " Oregon State Attorney General's Consumer Fraud Department"
In summary I have never had to deal a business with such unprofessional, unaccountable,vindictive , fraudulent and greedy practicesIf they did a PROPER job in the FIRST place we would not be dealing with this nightmarish situation
Both my son and I have had so much stress related to loss of money, and not having another vehicle, and dealing with this automotive repair shop's attitude toward standing by their warranty and proper engine installment;which we were totally unprepared to experience
One statement to me during my inquiry to why it was taking so long and the continued statement "IT WILL BE HERE TODAY" over and over again, was "YOU AMERICANS< MONEY MEANS NOTHING TO YOU was offensive and foretold what "AL's nephew attitude toward Americans were

My name is AL I am the owner of Japanese Auto ServiceMrs*** and her son brought the car in Aug 31st and was picked up Sep 25th so less then a monthwhen she brought car and asked to have it rebuilt we advised her it would cost $if her engine is rebuild-ablewhen we took the engine out
of the car to have it rebuilt we learned it had a hole in the block and its not rebuild-ableadvised her that she needs another block because hers is not rebuild-ableadvise customer that her block is so rare that we cant find one in the west coast and we had to get one from Indiana which will take sometime to get here via ground shippingwhich is why it took little less then a month to get the job donethe cost of the block with shipping is $she kept coming to our shop and harassing us to the point of us calling the police and giving her the option of taking her car back with a full refund which she refused because we had the engine already out of the car and wanted the the car doneso we told her its beyond our control as we don't have the block yetwhen police showed up they served her with no trespassing order and we were advised that Mrs *** is mentally ill per Washington county sheriffand have had a lot of previous complaints from different peoplethe car was complete and was picked up on Sep 25thshe was advised to have the car be back here for a check up and an oil change in days after pick up (see attached) for us to make sure engine is running correctly and to check all the fluidwhen her son came back with the car on Oct 6th which is days after it was picked up he was advised there was an issue with the car and we need the car back to fix it (see 2nd attachment)he said he had no ride back and cant leave car and he would bring it back the next daywe have not heard back from *** or Mrs *** (his mother) until Dec 28th when car came via towingcouple days later I get a call from Mrs *** telling me that I am from Iran and that I dont belong in the US and making a very racial remarksnot that it matters where I am from but I have no idea where she got the idea that I am from iranat that point we contacted the sheriff to file a harassment chargesand she was contacted again by sheriff dept to advise her that she is trespassing even by calling and to have only her son who owns the vehicle to contact us about his carher son who is a wonderful person and a very understanding person who is an adult and can take care of his own affairs and we have no issue discussing this matter with himthe invoice is under his name the payments are under his nametherefore I have no idea why Mrs *** is contacting Revdex.com when she is not doing any kind of business with Japanese Auto Servicein conclusion the car is here we are trying to help MR*** *** to resolve the issue but we just wish that Mrs *** dose not contact us nor contact Revdex.com due to the fact we have nothing to do with herMr *** ***, is an adult who can file his own complaint should he needs to

Along with the pictures, and full documentation of the damaged and "salvaged", rusty state of the so-called  "rebuilt " engine; what more new evidence do you want?
