Thank you for addressing your concerns with Asian StarWe have thoroughly reviewed your caseThe owner, manager, and server were all interviewed to piece together what transpired on September 2, Here are the responses to your inquiry.1) The food bar was ice cold- We follow strict guidelines on testing our foods' temperatureIt is reasonable that you were not satisfied with our quality especially since you arrived minutes before our closing time - PMWhether or not your claim on the ice cold temperature was substantiated, especially since you would not have a thermometer to test said food, we responded to your complaint by cooking hot and fresh dishes as you had requested2) Putting hot food with old food- This is an unreasonable claim as you were the last customers to dine with usIt would make no economic sense to mix old food and new food, especially after PM when all food is thrown away irrespective of its time of preparation.3) Cross contamination through use of the same thermometer on a variety of buffet dishes.- We take very special care to clean the thermometer before and after every testWe take food safety very seriously.4) You have fallen ill and are still sick today.- You dined at Asian Star on Sept 2, This complaint was submitted today, Sept 17, Ergo, you have been sick for over two weeksI assume that this warrants an doctor's visitPlease bring us a doctor's note for evidenceFurthermore, linking your two week illness to a dinner is farfetched and unreasonableHopefully you agree with us.5) Attitude of management- We sincerely apologize for any offense we caused.We hope this settles your complaint with usPlease consider dining at other establishments if our quality and service was not up to your standards; we surely do not want to service patrons who attempt to take advantage or file unsubstantiated claims against us.Regards,Asian Star

1) The various items three of the four people in my party ate were ice coldThe server even agreed they were coldWe arrived more then two minutes before close and people came in after usSo to suggest we arrived close to your closing time is unrealisticSince we had been sitting there and others came in after us, which meant that they arrived after you were "Closed"
2) We observed you mixing hot and cold items togetherYou brought out hot food, yes, but we all watched you dump those trays into the cold food and mix them together
3) We observed no wiping of the thermometer as we watched a male stick one food then the next unless this cloth was below the serving bar which was out of our sight
4) Please before responding with a condescending response check your factsThe fact is we reported this the NEXT business days which the Revdex.com can confirmYou failed to respond to this complaint in a timely manner until 9/17/per what you state in your response. Three of four fell ill that eveningThe one who ate the crab ragoon stayed the sickest the longest, and did get a prescription from her physician per her mother (she is not seeking reimbursement for the medical)
5) My request for a full refund is what I am still seeking

Whether or not your claim on the ice cold temperature was substantiated, especially since you would not have a thermometer to test said food, we responded to your complaint by cooking hot and fresh dishes as you had requested. 2) Putting hot food with old food. - This is an unreasonable claim as you were the last customers to dine with us.
