I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10263663, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The mechanic had the car for months and returned the car to me twice while it was still leaking before involving the dealershipIf he were competent to pull the engine from the car and replace the seals it does not make sense that he would need to enlist the help of the dealership to replace an oil lineThe dealership that he chose to bring the car to sites the timing chain cover as the source of the leak (in writing) saying that the job needs to be re-doneHe has twice claimed to me that it was fine only for me to find it leaking then he claims that the dealership he chose maliciously damaged the car when all evidence shows that he did not do the job correctly.
I hired the mechanic to fix an oil leak and this was not doneA full refund is the only solution to resolve this issue.

Per phone call: I did my end of it except for a steel line that I could not get a replacement forThe dealership said did that they could do it but they needed the carThe dealership said that there was no other oil leaks except
for that line and I drove it myself miles from my shop to the dealership and it was fine most of that on the highway They said that they had replaced the line and there was no other oil leaks The customer picks it up and tells me that within miles of pulling away the drive belt shreds itself and it starts pouring oilThat tells me the dealership did something wrong
The appraisal was done months before the home was completeThey did not take into account the upgrades that were installed and only went off what the builder told them would be stock in the house
