Incorrect eye prescription diagnosed. Subsequent prescription sunglasses ordered, complaint raised and they failed to resolve the problem.
In July 12th 20113, I had an eyes exam for sunglasses. When I picked-up my sunglasses a week later, I had a hard time with my left eye because it was very strong! I was told by [redacted] that I will get use to it. We moved across country two days later and the five days driving was impossible!
- Could not read the dashboard,it was blurry.
- After 15-20 mns, my left eye started crying and was getting a
headache.

Arrived in [redacted],I called [redacted] to explain the situation saying that I cant get used to it. They could not do anything but then she said to go to an eye Doctor and if my prescription is different,then they will replace the lens! I told her that we had no Insurance and that I just spent over $300 for those glasses through Groupon and my husband lost his job,so I could not go to see an eye Doctor again! She told me: " It`s OK, just take your time!" She never gave me a time frame to resolve it!

February 1st, we finally got Insurance and February 20th, I went to have my eyes checked. My prescription from [redacted], was way off as for my LEFT EYE: [redacted] < 3.25
[redacted] < 2.75

I called [redacted] on the 20th of February to let her know, but was apparently busy with a patient and I was asked what was the purpose of my call! I explained and was told that she will call me back.
I did not hear from her that day so I called on the 21st of February in the morning and she picked up the phone. She was not very pleasant on the phone and told me that its been 7 months so she can`t do anything now.
I explained everything again to her from day one saying that she never gave me a time frame and that the prescription was wrong. she told me that my eye could have changed during that time.
My Eye Doctor from [redacted] could not believe that the prescription from [redacted] was so off and told me that all the side effect I had while wearing them was due to the high prescription! She does not understand how the Doctor in [redacted] ( Dr [redacted]) made that mistake.
