Add contact information for Asknet, Inc
On 6/11/I received a text message from my bank stating that suspicious charges had been made on my accountThe charges were for ASKNET IOSOFT ONLINE which I have never dealt with (and I've never purchased online software)I immediately replied to my bank's text saying that I had NOT made those charges and my bank credited me back as expectedBut months later the merchant somehow provided my bank with my address (yes, the only piece of information they had about me was MY ADDRESS which they probably bought from another merchant I had dealt with in the past year) and my bank reversed the chargeI contacted Asknet via email [Incident: ***] and they stated that the transaction I was inquiring about had been cancelled but this is not the case because I was charged for the amount of $and my bank will not refund it, so they told me to deal directly with AsknetFollowing Asknet's initial response I've sent multiple emails but they never got back to meSo at this
On the 29th of October and again on the 9th of November, ask*** charged my account fraudulentlyBoth occasions were for $In speaking with the individual he was very misleading and provided a lot of informationSuch as, who is going to handle the refundI really question the validity of this business since there is one guy answering the phoneFor all I know, he's the one who committed the fraudOur last conversation was not pleasantI don't believe he has my best interests in mind and is simply stalling to no resultI base that off of all the inaccurate statements he made such as MasterCard will take care of it and all I need to do is call themMasterCard wants nothing to doHis "fraud investigation" is a stall tactic and the company he claims actually accepted the funds is in association with ask***Lot of questions for this one man buissness
Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meSincerely, *** ***
Dear Mr***,
We are very sorry that this matter was not handled better on our part
First, we were never informed by you in June that fraudulent charges were issued to your Mastercard account. All we saw was that your Mastercard bank reversed two charges for $US
and $US to us on June 27, 2017.
In cases like this, our Payment Services department looks up the details of the contested charges and provides a response to your credit card bank to see if the purchases in question can be identified or linked to a valid bank account (given the details provided with each online order). For both purchases, your billing information provided for these two online orders were confirmed as valid, so, without any further information or having been notified by you that there were two fraudulent charges placed on your Mastercard account through asknet AG, it was concluded that enough evidence existed to match the two contested orders as valid
When you first contacted asknet AG by email on September 14, 2017, this is where we should have handled your fraud claim differently and escalated it to our Payment Services team for further review instead of simply informing you of the status of your contested orders.
We will forward your fraud claim to our Payment Services department and ask them to review and process a manual refund back to your Mastecard account (the same account that was used for both purchases on June 11, 2017). Payment Services will respond to you via email directly for your two fraud claims for orders *** and *** and let you know the status of these two refund requests
asknet AG prides itself in supporting all customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner and will continue to do our best to assist all customers with a fair and equitable resolution to all reasonable requests
Regards,
*** ***
