Again, we apologize for the miscommunication during the transaction involving the John Deere Mower that was purchased from our storeWe strive to make sure all of our customers walk away feeling as though they were treated fairly and with kindnessHowever, in this situation, I *** was not the one
who originally sold the mower and he knows that a tuwas done on the mowerOur records show that the customer did not pay the $in question and we are questioning the reason we eow a refund on something that was not paid.As far as the tune up goes, our mechanic looks over the contract that is written up when the customer first brings the machine to us and then assesses and repairs based off of the description of the problem as stated by the customerOur records show that the customer comments say not holding gas *** told him to drop it off and nothing about needing to replace the air filter or spark plug; however, our mechanics notes do specifically state that he " Installed black 1/fuel hose with correct size clamps, filled with fuel, set overnight, no leakingOur shop fee is payment for our mechanic and any others who had dealings with the mower in the time that it was at our store, it is to make sure that even if someone decides not to have their equipment fixed at our store, we are still compensated for our services

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I don't care to pursue this any further as it is a waste of my time. I have a receipt for the payment on the mower's repair, and I'll gladly eat that cost, it just means that any person who asks me about this store, will most likely never shop there. Being a resident of the town this shop is in, that may end up pretty unfavorably to the owner. I am sorry that it has come to this over $30. Especially when I have tried hard to incorporate this store into my daily purchases. Over the last year I have spent several thousand dollars in supplies, which will not be repeated. I did this because I believe the price inflation is worth buying from a local store, as long as they know the difference between a customer and a client, which this store does not. I guess taking the longer drive to stores that actually keep good records and communicate with their staff will keep me from ending up in this situation again.btw, I would be curious if you could make a fuel line disintegrate over a couple of weeks; it would be my logical understanding that the mower was not looked over as all the other areas that would be addressed, i.eoil, spark plug and air filter, were clogged, dirty, and needed replacement. So if that all happened in several weeks of not being used, then I am wrong.I agree that I didn't buy the John Deere maintenance kit from you because you don't sell John Deere parts. That too, leads me to believe this mower wasn't gone over. If it was, please provide the parts that were order to make the mower run properly. Thank you for the lesson learned. I wish you and your business much successful growth in communications and record keeping, as it will be needed to stay in businessRegards, *** ***
