ASP OF Pensacola Reviews (%countItem)

ASP has never failed to keep our pool in great condition. Weekly reports along with pictures reassure us that the work is actually being done. Our last pool company just stopped showing up but kept charging. ASP is on top of it and provides an itemized account of what's added to our pool and contacts us if anything needs our approval. Best choice we've made for pool maintenance.

DONT HIRE SOMEONE WHO STEALS FROM YOUR PROPERTY!!!! - Pensacola ASP Does

This ASP is very shady! The owner *** will come to your house talk a sweet talk and explain. During his sales pitch he states promises this company cant keep.
Baskets under $50 are free but you get charged for them.
They also say they will email you pictures before and after each cleaning, but they do not so when you ask them to verify their cleaning they truly cannot hold their word to the real time promise they have made. When they send up the pictures 3wks later, they are of the same picture.

EVEN WORSE the 1st treatment they did on my pool they used the chemicals I had owned/stored on my property without my permission. *** denied the incident and told me I should lock stuff up in my own backyard so no one takes it. Wait... I have to lock up my stuff from the pool guy?
THENAFTER this *** starts harassing me over text, over and over till I had to block him. *** then started to send tons of emails of the same invoices all in one sitting. How immature!!! I received 21 emails on Dec 31st for 3 invoices. 1 invoice was for the basket that wasnt free. I contested it and nothing is free. 2nd invoice was 1 months worth of pool cleaning though I only had them less then a month. 3rd invoice was for the following month which was ridiculous because they never came out that month!!! *** stated he would give me a credit for the chemicals I owned that were used but no credit was given.

*** states verbally there is no contract and you do not sign a thing but he will hold you to a FAKE Contract that doesnt exist. When cancelling he will state you need a 30 notice...

After the incident they came back on property and turned a pool line off and manually turned off the filter so the pool wouldn't circulate. Odd how the house went on vacation and the pool magically turned itself off in the electrical box and turned it's own levers to the pipe lines to off.
What a revenge they have and the harassment is too stressful.

Also, before moving into this house the same thing happened with the pool. One pipe line was turned off and the electrical was off so it wouldn't circulate. The pool was green and a door tag was hanging on the door advertising ASP Pool Service. This is how they make their business. Walk on a property and mess with the pool functions. I spoke to the past owner and they made sure everything was open and working on the pool when they left the week before.
The past owners of this house expressed they had a hard time with this company as well.

HERE IS YOUR SIGN!!! Dont do it unless you like thieves.

Also, *** places his ASP cards all around town. Pool places, dive shops, ect. Since they are there for the people to grab, I make sure I grab the entire stack so no one has to go through what I have. I vow to do this as long as I live here.

ASP OF Pensacola Response • Jan 28, 2020

we at ASP are very sorry for any misunderstandings or misconceptions.
In response to your message, we would offer the following information:
1. We only authorize our pool technicians to use commercial grade products in pools - not the clients. The reason this is a hard rule for all ASP franchises is that we cannot stand by our service commitment when using chemicals we do not know yield consistent results.
2. The suggestion to lock up your chemicals was primarily a safety precaution to assure no one could be hurt by them. A secondary benefit would be to assure you that no one would be taking your chemicals.
3. There is a maintenance agreement that is signed by all clients, and which you signed on October 21, 2019, which states that any repair under $50 will be repaired without prior notification. This stipulation simply allows ASP to render the best service to your pool and equipment in a timely manner that does not risk worsening the chemical balance of your pool at a much higher cost to remedy. The agreement also states that any repair in excess of $50 will require notification and approval by the customer prior to installation. In either case, the repairs are not free.
4. Upon reviewing the entire situation, we are willing to provide you with a refund of $123.75 for November. Even though our agreement stipulates a 30-day notice, we are waiving that notification for you and will put a check in the mail for the three weeks in November you were charged as part of the 30-day notice.
5. The most important thing for ASP of Pensacola is to render a service that keeps our customers very satisfied. After all, we are in a service business. Again, we are very sorry for any misunderstanding that we might have contributed to, but we hope the information we have provided and the refund, will indicate to you our commitment to our customers.
