I did not accept Aspen Dental s resolution to this complaint because it was not the bank's fault, it was the Aspen Dental's employee who explained the agreement wrong to meAgain, I did not have my glasses and was having a hard time reading the agreement so she explained it to meShe did not explain what deferred interest meantI do remember her saying that I needed to pay off what I could or I would be charged interest after monthsMy interpretation of that was if I didn't pay it all off in months I would be charged a low interest rate on the balance of what I owedThat is what I thought deferred meantAspen Dental should be responsible for their employee's faults not the bankAs I said before, I trusted the employee to tell me what was on that agreement and when I came home I put the agreement in the file and didn't read it againThank You [redacted] ***

I did not accept Aspen Dental s resolution to this complaint because it was not the bank's fault, it was the Aspen Dental's employee who explained the agreement wrong to me. Again, I did not have my glasses and was having a hard time reading the agreement so she explained it to me. She did not explain what deferred interest meant. I do remember her saying that I needed to pay off what I could or I would be charged interest after 18 months. My interpretation of that was if I didn't pay it all off in 18 months I would be charged a low interest rate on the balance of what I owed. That is what I thought deferred meant. Aspen Dental should be responsible for their employee's faults not the bank. As I said before, I trusted the employee to tell me what was on that agreement and when I came home I put the agreement in the file and didn't read it again. Thank You. [redacted]

Review: To whom it may concern:

I would like to bring your attention to an issue that both my husband & I were affected by at your [redacted], PA clinic. My husband has been a patient of this clinic for 1 year now,. When the business was in their previous location, there were never any issues with appointment times, scheduling, wait times. This last visit which was scheduled for 3:30 pm on Wednesday - 3/16/16 2 weeks prior to the appointment started off to be a very disappointing appointment to say the least. When we got the reminder call, the girl on the phone stated the date and then said 4:00 pm instead of 3:30 pm. We went directly from work to the clinic. When we walked in, there was no one at the main counter. There was a young woman sitting at a window with another patient. She turned around, looked at us, but never uttered a word to us. As in: "Please sign in, and have a seat, someone will be with you momentarily. Not one word was spoken by her. About 10-15 minutes later another young woman came out from the back, chewing food that she obviously didn't finish in the back. We were there about an hour by this time. The second woman sat down with her back to us and the first girl rolled over on her chair, and they both sat there whispering to one another, not once did either of them ask us anything. That lasted about 1/2 hour. In the mean time another woman came in, stood there, while the two behind the counter disappeared in to the back somewhere. The woman asked my husband & I if there was anyone working the desk. I replied: 'It depends on what you mean by working. If you mean sit, talk & giggle with your co-worker, you are correct. If you mean actually help a customer, well, you're out of luck!' The second girl apparently heard what I said and finally came over to the desk and asked her a question, told her to have a seat. About 10 minutes later the second woman said to my husband: 'Oh yeah, you have to fill this paper out and give it back to me when your done.' The first girl came out & told the second girl that she was to tell the woman that just walked in that when she called her house with her appointment reminder that she also told her there may be an hour or more wait. The woman said 'Oh [redacted]!! No one left me any such message and besides, how would you know you were going to be an hour behind two weeks in advance?!' By this time my husband was back in a room having his plate taken care of...so I thought. Right before my husband came out, the second girl brought a large pile of files over to the front desk, looked at me & slammed them down on the counter. Finally my husband came out from the back at 5:30 p,. 2 hours later, not to mention that he was in a worse mood than when he first went back. He said: 'If they weren't holding my teeth hostage, I would have gotten up & left!' There was some dentist that took his teeth, was gone for 15 minutes. Came back with them, turned around took them out of the room again & didn't return for another 20 minutes. We were so disgusted with the lack of professionalism and the lack of attention to customers, patients and families and also the lack of respect to people in general. If either my husband or myself need any type of dental work done in the future, you can rest assured that we will NOT be visiting any of your clinics again. The only thing we go there for is a 10 minute adjustment appointment that turned into a 2 1/2 hour joke of an appointment.Desired Settlement: I think you need to send your front desk receptionist to classes to see how being a professional receptionist is all about. They certainly do not have a clue. I also think it would be a great idea to actually get off your behinds, walk over to the person with a smile, and say: 'Good morning/afternoon/evening. My name is ___________, how can I help you today?' At least acknowledge the people, patients that come in the door as soon as they come up to the desk rather than let them stand there like statues as your employees stair back at them every few seconds like they are a bother. I have worked with the public for more years than I care to remember, and one thing in every case is: "The customer is always right." I think with a little acknowledgement and a kind word on how things are progressing from the 2 women behind the desk, the majority of people in the waiting area would not have been so angry. I know if that were the case, I would not be sitting here typing my complaint to you. Receptionist's need to place themselves in that patients shoes and see how they would like to be treated...my way, or theirs. Thank you for your time with this matter. I am hoping that my husbands next appointment there will be a fast, and easy one. If not, you will be hearing from me again, along with the Revdex.com & a few others.
