Aspen Dental has committed unethical business practices towards me on February 28, 2020
Aspen Dental has committed unethical business practices towards me on February 28, 2020, Aspen Dental scheduled a 3:00 pm appointment for a Surgical Removal of four teeth. Normal business hours for Fridays are 8am-1pm. I was told that I needed a designated driver in order to start the procedure. My friend (driver) was on his way to meet me at aspen dental when he caught a flat tire which caused him to arrive at 3:20pm. when he arrived they rescheduled my appointment a month away. However I'm not satisfied or in agreement with any and all of the contracts involving me and ASPEN DENTAL, *** C *** located in plant city.
-I might add who authorized a 3:00pm appointment,2 hours after normal
closing time on Friday and wont allow an additional 20min because of a flat tire?

Desired Outcome

Desired Outcome Billing Adjustment Aspen Dental needs to adjust their billing and remove the charges for the tooth extractions procedure

Thank you for the acknowledgment, I sincerely respect the ASPEN DENTAL brand and I, *** would be more than willing to continue my business with you as well as resolving this matter. In all fairness I would greatly appreciate a reasonable discount for my inconvenience, in regards to the initial procedure in the amount of $1,729 ( four wisdom teeth extractions).
To ensure my transportation a timely arrival, I would prefer relocation to the *** office ***

Aspen Dental has committed unethical business practices towards me when I received Dental services from them during the spring and summer of 2019. On March 13, 2019, Aspen Dental performed a Bone Replacement Graft and Tissue Regeneration Barrier without my permission after the Surgical Removal of a tooth. Delta Dental Insurance denied payment stating that as a Dental standard bone grafts and guided tissue regeneration is not covered when performed with a tooth extraction. Aspen Dental then told me not worry about it and that they would submit an essay/paper to Delta Dental to explain why, but this did not happen. Aspen Dental then unethically took my Dental Plan/Billing and changed billing codes to move money that I had paid for a crown and applied towards the bone graph. Aspen Dental then told me that I had not paid them for a crown, when I already had. Aspen Dental then unethically had guest Dentists who were not approved by Delta Dental to perform dental services on me with out my knowledge. Aspen Dental then unethically denied my request to make an adjustment to my dentures until I paid them for the bone graph, when their Public advertising states they will adjust dentures for free at any time. Aspen Dental says I still owe them for a crown and cleaning that was also denied by Delta Dental as unnecessary. Aspen Dental is now threatening me with a bad credit claim.
Product_Or_Service: Tooth extraction and crown.

Desired Outcome

Billing Adjustment Aspen Dental needs to adjust their billing and remove the charges for the bone graph tissue regeneration and apply that money towards the crown that they say I owe them for.

RE: Aspen Dental Account Number: XXXXXXX
Revdex.com Case # XXXXXXXX

Dear Mr.:

Thank you for sharing your concerns about the treatment you received and the invoice that you received for those services. I am writing to you on behalf of the Plant City FL Aspen Dental branded practice, owned and operated by *** I certainly do apologize for your experience at the Plant City FL Aspen Dental office.

I am receipt of your complaint filed with the Revdex.com. I have reviewed it and your Aspen Dental account. The reason that you were billed $2,278.40 in February 2020 is because your dental insurance did not authorize most of the estimated provider discounts noted on your original treatment estimate. The missed discounts totaled $2,023.40. As a courtesy to you and in keeping in line with the spirit of the estimate, the dental practice has applied those discounts. The new balance due on your Aspen Dental account is $255.00. The next billing invoice will reflect the change. If you have any questions regarding your account or treatment, please reach out to the Plant City, FL Aspen Dental office at (XXX) XXX-XXXX (option *** and speak with the Area Manager Brandi C.

I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to respond to your inquiry. A copy of this letter has been forwarded to the Revdex.com in response to your complaint. I am available for any further questions at the below contact information.

Sincerely,

Ron Hobbs
