Last September I had X-rays, a cleaning, and a deep cleaning. I was told my insurance covered the X-rays and the cleaning, but not the oral cancer exam or the deep cleaning. Because the office staff were horrible at booking appointments and could not properly assess what costs were or would be I chose not to return to this office for care. Today, August 3rd, I learned the deep cleaning would have been covered by my insurance company after I sought care with another dentist and the cleaning was not covered because of what happened at Aspen Dental. I paid $95.40 for the deep cleaning and my insurance company informed me that Aspen Dental owes me $60.00. I would like for them to refund me the $60.00 since they deceived me.

We apologize for the delay with the insurance getting back to us with this claim as it can take a couple of weeks to reflect in our systems. I know I made contact with you a couple of days ago informing you that we're actually refunding more than what the insurance initially stated. Thank you for your patience and we are glad we were able to take care of this for you.

I received the refund from Aspen Dental regarding Case# ***. It is fine for the case to be considered closed.
