When we decided to part ways with the [redacted] 's, we went out of our way to provide them with the names and contact information of all the subcontractors that where used on this project The issues that they are complaining about are all issues that would have been addressed between the general contractor (Aspen Flat Construction) and the sub contractors that where used on this job during final punch list and warranty The [redacted] 's took over the General contracting of the project and thus these issues became their issues to resolve On every project there are issues that come up and are worked through before completion When a general contractor is asked to step aside half way through a project those items become the responsibility of the owner

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Aspen Flat Construction has still not addressed the original issues detailed by our complaint.Only one of the issues that we detailed was clearly handled by a subcontractor, the bathroom floor heat and tile workThe remaining issues where all handled directly by Aspen Flat Construction according to the invoices we have receivedWe received no subcontractor information, subcontractor bid, subcontractor invoice or otherwise for the window installation, exterior paint or fan installation. As I mentioned before, there are contractsThe contract for the windows and exterior is a direct contract with Aspen Flat Construction, with no mention of them acting as a general contractorIt was only on the interior remodel contract that Aspen Flat Construction describes themselves as the general contractor. In the case of the windows, one of the reasons we chose Aspen Flat Construction is that they are an Idaho Power approved installer for new windowsIn the case of the fan, I meet with Aspen Flat Construction right before they installed the fan to confirm the placementAt that time, they said it'll be tight and I suggested we order a smaller fanThey said it would fit and not to worry about it.Aspen Flat Construction refused to talk with us at all until we made our complaint with Revdex.com.comNow they have decided to take no responsibility for their work on the projectWe are only asking for the most serious items to be addressed Sincerely, [redacted]

Dear Revdex.com, We work very diligently to provide our customers with quality work on budgetThe ***s were on a very tight budget which they explained to us before we began their projectAll of the bids that we provided to them were designed to meet their budget, as this is in the best interest
of both partiesWe did explain to them that it is very common in residential construction and home remodels that things come up during the process that may cause budget overages and that we highly recommend including a contingency fund in the budget for unexpected expensesAs the remodel on their home progressed, they would come to house and ask us to make changes or upgradesWe are always happy to accommodate such requests, but we cannot do change orders free of charge. In March, they decided to upgrade the hardwood flooring choice for the houseThis particular upgrade was a cost increase of $2,This is only one example of the upgrades they requested. We met with Mr*** and tried to explain that this upgrade seemed to costly and would not fit in their budgetThen Mr*** said they had to have these upgrades we began to get very concerned that they would not be able to pay for all of these itemsHe then began asking us to make more upgrades and things for them free of charge.Currently, The ***'s have an unpaid invoice #*** from 4/08/in the amount of $1,It is not our policy nor a good business practice to go back and complete more work for a customer who has not paid their invoices in fullThey opted to cancel and void the contract and do much of the work themselvesWe offer no warranty once a contract has been cancelled and others have taken over a project because we have no control over quality and process at that pointSincerely, Dominick G***Aspen Flat Construction

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:It does not address the core issue of our complaintThere are items that we have fully paid for that were not completed in a proper manner.I'll address each part of Aspen Flat's letter: > We work very diligently to provide our customers with quality work on budgetThe ***s were on a very > tight budget which they explained to us before we began their projectAll of the bids that we provided > to them were designed to meet their budget, as this is in the best interest of both partiesWe did > explain to them that it is very common in residential construction and home remodels that things come up > during the process that may cause budget overages and that we highly recommend including a contingency > fund in the budget for unexpected expenses.> As the remodel on their home progressed, they would come to house and ask us to make changes or upgrades.> We are always happy to accommodate such requests, but we cannot do change orders free of charge In March,> they decided to upgrade the hardwood flooring choice for the houseThis particular upgrade was a cost> increase of $2,This is only one example of the upgrades they requested We met with Mr*** and> tried to explain that this upgrade seemed to costly and would not fit in their budgetThen Mr*** said> they had to have these upgrades we began to get very concerned that they would not be able to pay for all of> these itemsHe then began asking us to make more upgrades and things for them free of charge. We did meet in March and discuss the budgetIt was a meeting that I requested, due to the much higher than expected electrical and plumbing costs, almost 200% the original estimate in both casesI wanted to walk through the remaining work with Aspen Flat and make sure I understood what was an estimate and what was a bid amount with a sub contractorWe made changes from that meetingFirst, we removed some shelving in the kitchen and reduced the cost of cabinet bid by several thousand dollarsSecond, I opted to complete the plumbing work myself, which was mainly finishing work and fixture installationWe did discuss the wood floors and I think a more fair way to describe what I told Aspen Flat's is that the floors were our one splurge in the projectAspen Flat did not indicate to me at any time that they thought we would not be able to pay for the projectIn fact, they happily accepted a check for $on March 18th, which included half the cost of the hardwood floors (half the new higher estimate of the floors)We can provide documentation of prompt payment of every invoice that we received besides the final invoice. We never asked Aspen Flat to do work for freeWe did ask what options we had at each step of the project and we did add items to the project that weren't part of the original estimateAspen Flat was happy to provide estimates for these changes as we added them to the projectEvery change that was made was paid for.I think that Aspen Flat has a responsibility to document all the requests for upgrades and free work if they're going to accuse us of that kind of behavior.> Currently, The ***'s have an unpaid invoice #*** from 4/08/in the amount of $1,It is not our> policy nor a good business practice to go back and complete more work for a customer who has not paid their> invoices in fullThey opted to cancel and void the contract and do much of the work themselvesWe offer no> warranty once a contract has been cancelled and others have taken over a project because we have no control> over quality and process at that point. If Aspen Flat would like to include the issue of the final invoice as part of this complaint, we're happy to detail that as wellAspen Flat delivered a complete set of the invoices on April 10th, as we requested, after we informed them that we would have to finish the project without themAfter reviewing the invoices, I emailed a detailed breakout of overcharges, mischarges and missing materialsI recieved no responseOn April 27th, I emailed again indicating that we were going to have to order replacements for some of the missing materials and to please contact us if they had them so we could resolve the final invoiceI recieved no response again.Copied from the April 10th email:On the invoice dated 12/7/we were charged $for OSB sheets and a roll of TyvekThese materials should have been part of the fixed cost exterior projectIf not, please explain why.The exterior doors included a $refundable deposit that was included in our bill.On the invoice dated 3/7/we were charged $for 5/4X#Pine S4S 16’ boardsThese were later returned and we were charged for the replacement boards. The final invoice includes a charge of $for the wiring and circuit breaker on the temporary heatToday when we talked, you indicated that you’d be keeping those items. The missing materials that we already paid for were:Kohler Shower Faucet - $143.28Pegasus Medicine Cabinet - $179.89Adding up all the overcharges, mischarges and missing materials the remaing balance would be $If the only issue for Aspen Flat is this remaining $164.91, then we'd be happy to work with them to resolve that issue. We aren't asking for a warranty on the work that Aspen Flat completedWe're asking that improperly completed items, paid for in full, be fixed.Sincerely,*** ***

We have reviewed the account support notes, as well as
reviewed all of the facts and circumstanceIn addition to the complaint made
to your office, we are responding to a letter received from Behind the Scene
Exec’s attorney.? Since this customer has
hired legal representation, we are
limiting this response to state that
Crexendo has provided all of the services contracted forCrexendo contracted with Behind the Scenes Execs for various
communications equipment and services on a month service agreement.? That agreement is a valid contract and
Crexendo will enforce it.? Any issues
Behind the Scenes Execs may have had with the service are related to improper
use by their employees or contractors.?
Crexendo has provided top quality products and support services.? It is unfortunate to respond to a customer who is
dissatisfied, but when the customer chooses to turn to an outside party rather
than our support department for assistance there really isn’t much we can doWe always strive to provide the best customer service, and
our telephones are continually updated with cutting edge technology, often
rated as the best in the market? Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this customer’s
concerns.?
