I was baffled by the fact that we were asked to give an estimate on a roof that we were just turned into the Revdex.com for? When I contacted Mr [redacted] at his residence I was informed that when he had called he was concerned because the roof was leaking during the hail stormWhen we discussed where the leaks had occurred I was told at the bottom edge of the roof along the gutterNor myself nor Mr [redacted] were able to determine if the leaks were from the gutters being backed up from the hail or if it was in fact leaking under the roofUpon my initial inspection of the roof I did notice that there were a substantial amount of penetrations through the roof which all appeared to be flashed correctlyI then had looked back on the history of this roof and noticed that we had been out to the residence numerous times addressing leaks Mr [redacted] had stated to me that he has had some plumbing and ventelation issues on the roof prior to us putting the roof onI asked Mr [redacted] if we had neglected him and had not addressed the issues he has had since the roof was put on and he had told me noAccording to our records, we had been out to Mr [redacted] residence multiple times fixing leaks and trying to address the issue of where the moisture was getting in at the roof? I had asked Mr [redacted] why he had decided to call the Revdex.com when he had told me we had been out to his residence each time there was an issue and we were trying to help fix the leak issuesI was told that he was frustrated and that maybe that was not the best thing to do? Myself and Mr [redacted] looked over the roof and discussed what needs to be done to address issues on the roofMr [redacted] would like to try and re-rout some of the plumbing pipes that are penetrating the roof and could be causing the issuesI then told Mr [redacted] that under our license that is not something we would get involved with but we would try and help out with installing a new roof and help by cutting a hole in the roof so the plumbing pipes could be addressed Mr [redacted] had asked me to give him an estimate for a whole new roof and I told him that I wouldI believe there are issues on this roof with condensation and that the moisture issues stem from something else other than the roof Again I was surprised at the fact that we were asked to give an estimate if the work we had done in the past was not done to Mr [redacted] liking? Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:When I first contacted MrWilliam Inman in about the water stains on my ceiling getting larger, he said it was just condensationI told him I thought it was more than that and that I felt my roof was leakingI reminded MrInman that the roof was given a year warranty and that the roof was still under warrantyMrInman said he would send someone out to have a lookThat never happened! He never sent an inspector out to inspectI kept an eye on my ceiling for the next year, watching the water stains getting bigger and biggerIn July 2016, I contacted Inman roofing about another leak that was happening and as it turned out upon inspection, that leak was due to having a new furnace installed in with a larger diameter pipeThe furnace installer cut a larger hole into the roof and did not seal the roof properly against leaksI do not fault Inman roofing for thatDuring that inspection, I showed the inspector where the other leaks were occurringThis inspector was totally unprofessional, talked about his personal life, and was extremely disrespectful to me as documented in my previous complaintI have still to this date not received an apology from Inman Roofing or from the inspectorMrInman came out to do another inspection and told me a story about another man, and others customers, who had condensation problems with the same type of roofI asked MrInman why doesn't his company install additional ventilation ducts when they install these types of roofs as part of the overall roof replacementDoing that would avoid addition water damage to the customer's ceilingHe didn't have an answer to to my question or my suggestionMrInman also said there were several spots on my roof where the seams were coming apartI told him those repairs should be under warrantyWhen the roofer came to do the repair, I had no idea he was comingI did not receive a call or an appointment for this visitI was lucky I was homeThe roofer did the repairs to the furnace pipe installation and also patched other places where the seams were coming apartThe furnace pipe repair was initially estimated at $dollars, but I received a bill for $When I called to question the bill, the receptionist named Chelsea said she had an estimate signed by me for $I never signed an estimate for $and I told her thatI suspect my signature was forged on the estimateShe said MrInman would call me back the next dayOf course, that never happenedI've come to the conclusion that when the receptionists tell me that I will receive a call back, that I shouldn't hold my breathThis is par for Inman Roofing, as I have been told by other customers of Inman roofingIt is Inman Roofing's reputation in Cheyenne, Wyoming that they like to do the initial work, send the bill and be paid, but as far as any warranty work, the customer gets ignoredThere is no option for the customer other than to pay the bill or get turned over to a collection agency, as Inman Roofing ignores repeated requests by its customers for a resolutionI paid the $bill Inman Roofing sent me under threat of being turned over to collections, but rest assured, I will never, EVER call Inman Roofing for my roofing needs again, thank you very much

In regard to ID # [redacted] a proposal was signed (see attached) on 8/11/2016 with an agreed upon price of $375. After she had signed she called our office and said she no longer wanted the vents installed. She conveyed to our secretary she wanted the leak fixed but could not afford to do the vents....

She stated she wanted a specific roofer of ours to come back over and just fix the leak by the heater jack. We did that repair and sent a bill for $200. Our minimum repair for that type of roof would normally be $350, and we were trying to give this customer a break. All of our invoices state the same payment terms. Since we are unable to meet her expectations, we are respectfully asking that Ms. [redacted] contact a different company for any further roofing needs. Thank you William Inman – President

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Yes, one of the roof leaks was due to a new furnace installation. I have not faulted Inman roofing for that leak and I have paid Inman Roofing for that repair. First of all, there were n[redacted]r any roof vents to cover as Mr. Inman indicated, because roof vents were not installed as part of the initial roof replacement despite Mr. Inman knowing about condensation problems with this type of TPO rubber roof. The estimate of $300 to install 4 vent holes on the roof was very high in my opinion. I bought 4 louvered vents at [redacted] for $14.00 and installed them myself in existing openings on the side of my roof. The pictures I requested from Mr. Inman were on his cell phone, and he told me they were when I requested them. He told me he would send them to me via email attachment, but of course that n[redacted]r happened. I n[redacted]r accused Inman Roofing of causing further damage to my roof. I only asked for the repair of the seams coming apart under warranty at no charge. 9 patches were applied to my roof where the seams were coming apart, 6 years after initial installation with a 10 year warranty. Inman Roofing now offers a reduced 5 year warranty for TPO rubber roofs.Mr. Inman has n[redacted]r apologized to me for his employee's unprofessional, disrespectful speech and behavior and neither has the employee. I realize that this is because I live in a manufactured home in [redacted] with the wrong zip code of [redacted] and not the [redacted] zip code of [redacted]. No matter where a customer lives in Cheyenne, or what type of house they live in, they should always be treated with courtesy and respect. I'm glad to hear that Mr. Inman's employee has been counseled as to his Customer Relations communication skills. No female customer should have to tolerate that type of language being used in her presence. I'm still waiting for a letter of apology from the employee.I'm also wondering if Mr. Inman's employee was sent for alcohol and drug testing after telling Mr. Inman I observed his employee entering my drug using neighbor's home and staying for 45 minutes after the employee told me he had other estimates to do. Evidently, Inman Roofing's Zero Tolerance Policy is not being enforced. As I said in my previous response, rest assured, I will n[redacted]r call Inman Roofing for my future roofing needs. I do NOT need any disrespectful or drug and alcohol using roofers on my roof or on my property. It is a hazard and a definite liability.
Regards,

I reviewed the complaint given on 8/12/16. We initially did this roof on 10/22/12. This year 2016 I had received a service call to look at the roof at [redacted]. This residence had just been through a hail storm and the roof had been leaking. Our office administrator had brought to my...

attention that we had done the roof. I went to the residence and at the time no one was available so I gave an estimate to replace the roof due to hail damage. A few weeks had passed and I received this letter stating the complaint. I contacted the homeowner to find out what the issue was? When we discussed where the leaks had occurred I was told at the bottom edge of the roof along the gutter. Nor myself nor Mr. [redacted] were able to determine if the leaks were from the gutters being backed up from the hail or if it was in fact leaking under the roof. Upon my initial inspection of the roof I did notice that there were a substantial amount of penetrations through the roof which all appeared to be flashed correctly. I then had looked back on the history of this roof and noticed that we had been out to the residence numerous times addressing leaks.     Mr. [redacted] had stated to me that he has had some plumbing and ventelation issues on the roof prior to us putting the roof on. I asked Mr. [redacted] if we had neglected him and had not addressed the issues he has had since the roof was put on and he had told me no. I believe there are issues on this roof with condensation and that the moisture issues stem from something else other than the roof.     Again I was surprised at the fact that we were asked to give an estimate if the work we had done in the past was not done to Mr. [redacted] liking? Mr. [redacted] gave us the opportunity to do business with him again and from my conversation with Mr. [redacted] I felt that he agreed that we did our part at Inman Roofing Inc. in trying to our best in addressing the issues that have occured. gave her a more than reasonable price to repair the area and install vents. The pictures she requested were deleted before she requested I send them to her. For her to accuse Inman Roofing, Inc. of causing further damage to her roof is without merit. We have been in business for almost 30 years and are highly regarded in the community.             Mr. Inman has apologized to Ms. [redacted] for the alleged bad language used by our employee. As far as her accusations of the drinking and marijuana use by her neighbor, our company has a Zero Tolerance policy regarding drug and alcohol use by our employees.
