On January 27, 2020, I had a tooth extracted and at that time we paid with a credit card. Since then we have continued to receive statements showing a balance. when we've called or went in we spoke to *** who repeatedly told us it was a glitch in their system and that we had a zero balance. Now we have received a notice from a collection agency. We have worked very hard to obtain a good credit rating and are very concerned about what this will do to it.

When we receive written confirmation that the erroneous debt has been eliminated and any resultant negative credit bureau actions reversed, then we will consider accepting it as being fixed. We have been promised several times since the event on 1-27-2020 that action would be taken. So far to our knowledge nothing has been done other than refer our account to a debt collection agency.
