Asphalt Contractor Inc.'s (ACI) position on the above referenced complaint is that our organization is not responsible.  ACI has a culture of dealing with these kinds of issues with honesty and integrity.  We do sympathize with the complainant but don't want to bear the responsibility...

of something that we did not do. The complainant cites that ACI's worker's damaged her awning although she can't state this as factual.  In investigating the alleged incident, there was no transfer paint, the crew did not make note of a problem, the work process was evaluated for deficiencies and none were found, the damage and the equipment were measured and in no reasonable circumstance could the equipment have been in contact with the effected area. I would recommend that the complainant replace or repair the awning immediately if she has a concern regarding the safety of the apparatus.  Again, we are sorry that she is experiencing this problem but we don't deserve to have her problem visited on us.

I received your letter dated 8/17/17 and reviewed the information.  You had stated that our customer has additional concerns regarding this case but she did not cite anything additional, other than to reiterate that she want's our organization to pay for her awning repair/replacement.  I appreciate your attempt to mediate this to a mutually agreeable outcome, but feel like there is no opportunity given each parties position.
