Per our conversation there appears to be misunderstanding regarding remaining work to be completedOur representatives explained to the customer that we would be returning to complete the work (which we did today)Should there be any property damage we will resolve that with the property ownerAs I explained there is not a transaction between us and the property owner as we are directly contracted with the utility company (AEP/APCO)Property owners who feel that they have a claim should report it directly to APCO using their call center number ( [redacted] )At that point APCO enters the claim into their system and follows up with their contractors to ensure there is proper resolution

HORRIBLE COMPANY! When we had a ficus tree in the power wire lines here in Port Saint Lucie Florida that had also actually grown into a metal fence that could have energized the entire fence putting neighbors and pets in danger FPL hired Asplundh to take the tree far enough to the ground so we could then use a stump grinder to remove the rest of the tree so a new fence could be put in place of the damaged fence. The Asplundh crew sent to do this job took the tree down to the point of leaving a 3X4 foot stump that was still 3 feet high and refused to take it down close enough to the ground to grind down the stump. This area was 3 1/2 feet away from the fence and it could have safely been taken down as FPL promised. The Asplundh crew leader used an excuse that it was too dangerous to finish the job in order to stop the job from being completed. Also for the last two days of this 3 day job after the upper area of the tree had been cut down and removed this 3-4 man crew spent 80 percent of the time on this jobsite sitting in and around their truck doing absolutely nothing instead of working to do this job as they should have been doing. After they refused to complete this job and left in their truck, my neighbor took his 18" chainsaw and easily removed the rest of the tree down to the stump in less then one hour. This crew and the people that were supposed to be overseeing them milked this job for 2 days for pay that they without question they did not deserve! I do not blame the entire crew but I do blame the crew leader and his direct bosses for creating this situation!
We will now strongly recommend that Florida Power & Light and everyone else give the next tree removal contracts to Davey Tree Experts, a large nationwide company and competitor to Asplundh that actually follows through to do the jobs that they are paid to do.

Asplundh Tree Company came in my yard when I was home to trim trees. They were initially told where they could go to get the trees. A Second truck comes up, now realize my yard is not acre, two big trucks in my back yard at the same time. They drive where supposed to and then decide to drive around a tree that is sitting just before where the water drains off my property, they were not given permission to drive around that tree. I called and complained about the ruts they left in my yard, was told someone would come and fix them. To my knowledge no one has fixed them I still have ruts. A man named [redacted] left me a message and said someone would be out to fix the ruts the next week. I wait the week no one has been, so I called him again he said would check on it. I have heard no further information from Mr. [redacted]. His number is [redacted]. I called him today and let him know how very disappointed I am with the crew that was here and how very disrespectful they all were to my property. Even the Limb guy was flying through my yard and I had to tell him to slow down.I still have ruts, and no one from that company is going be around when it tears my lawn mower up when I have to cut.Product_Or_Service: Tree Triming for CPLDesired SettlementMy desired resolution is that they truly come and fix these ruts.
